Black mountain bistro is nice place with nice staff. They have a nice place to sit outside during the warm months and are right in walking distance of downtown black mountain. However their prices are high, i was charged $4.00 to add 5-6 mushroom slices to my chicken wrap. That’s a rip off.

As always, GREAT! If you're looking for fresh seafood, get their Grouper sandwich. Nice wine selection, love the outdoor seating. Closed on Sundays, which is a bummer, but I respect that they and their staff get to enjoy a day of rest. It shows in their service and the way their food is prepared.

Great place to relax outside and eat quality food. Service was good. Would eat here again. Dessert was excellent. Coffee very good.

Came in for lunch with no reservation. Absolutely the best meal from start to finish! Had the charcuterie plate, turkey and dressing meal and kale quinoa salad. Food was divine!!! Great service, super friendly staff and great vibe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Food was not the best, rather bland. We had a large group of 14 with reservations and no one thought their food was very tasty. The meat was quite tough and portions were way too large. The desserts were awesome though!

Always great food here for us at least the last 20 years or more. This time we had 32 choir members from Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Asheville with us. We all enjoyed it very much The Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie was our unanimous choice.

Love this place. It never fails. Great options, vegetarian friendly, wonderful servers. The drinks are amazing, atmosphere is wonderful, great all around.

Visited while in town for a Spartan Trail race. The menu has a good variety. The server suggested their in-house honey mustard dressing for dipping sweet potato fries. Taking her suggestion, we found it to be fantastic. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and service! My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, and perhaps one of the best cuts I have had in years. Asparagus was crisp and fresh, potatoes creamy to the senses, and instead of being heavy and overwhelming they where cloud-like in texture and sat well as a whole with the meal. Server was knowledgable and adept, and the building itself, though unassuming, is well done with a modern atmosphere blending with a classic experience. All in all, a truly 5 star rating experience, and it will be a regular stop for me and mine every year.

This was our second visit to Black Mountain and also our second visit to the Bistro. It was as good this time as I remembered. It's a great place for outdoor or inside eating. This time I had the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious! I was there with my husband and our good friends. We all really enjoyed our dinner and highly recommend you have your next meal here.
