Our first visit to Black Lamb turned out to be a wonderful surprise! I started with the House Martini - dry and dirty and thoroughly delicious - and a dozen oysters that were fresh and tangy. The short ribs were perfectly cooked - falling off the bone and braised in a tasty juice that was divine. The duck breast frites were equally delectable. The corn madeleines for dessert were a perfect way to wrap up a delicious and memorable evening. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and made the experience even that much more enjoyable. Definitely on the short list of places to visit again and again.

I've eaten several times at all of the Colin Lynch restaurants at this point and am a fan of all of them. While No Relation's omakase remains my favorite, Black Lamb holds up in terms of great food and great service - so I'm excited to see where it goes from here. From one Newburyporter to another, Bravo!
