Black Cat Burrito

Pretty cool place to grab a burrito close to campus, with some fairly unconventional menu options. I’m personally partial to the Greek burrito.

We got nachos, taco salad with mango salsa, and steak tacos- all were delicious! Learned that the vegetarian chili was seasonal though. Came back another time and got the fish tacos, yum!

Im visiting from Raleigh and my friend brought me here telling me it was one of the best places in Boone. Took about 45 minutes for a taco salad and 1 burrito. Had to ask to get the food to go since we had plans for the day. Food was decent. Not sure why they just threw my chips in the bag instead of in a container, is that how they usually do it?

Black Cat just not what it once was. We've been in twice in the past month. Both times we left disappointed. Flavor not bad, however, getting cold food - not so good. Sadly after many years of enjoying BC - not sure we will go back.

What a cool place to eat. At first it looked like a little hole in the wall until we stepped inside. Every one in my party enjoyed their meal. I would describe it as an upscale Moe’s that serves beer. I say Moe’s, but the food was head and shoulders above Moe’s. The place kind of had a bar feel that you could still take your young kids to. Kind of hip, but with really great food. We will return!

Black Cat has a great menu that takes burritos beyond the expected. I don't order burritos at most places because they're usually pretty boring, but Black Cat has great flavors and unexpected combinations. I love the Zorba the Greek burrito with lamb, tzatziki sauce and veggies. The slaw and their house-made chips are always top notch.

Good food, fast service. Good selection of hot sauces. Wish that the salsa came with the chips!

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time the other night and shared a plate of nachos. It tasted okay but, about halfway through we realized that most of the chicken was severely undercooked. I thought at first it was just dark meat but I looked closer at some of the pieces and they pink and chewy. We probably should have said something to the manager but we didn't. Thank goodness we didn't get sick but it freaked us out enough to where we probably won't go back.

The food is fresh, simple and perfectly prepared. The beer selection is great. The artwork adds to the experience. It's my favorite place to go for lunch.

I used to LOVE this place. So much that my wife and I would drive an hour just to get a Burrito of Brotherly Love. Tonight, I got a burrito full of what tasted like microwaved chicken. It came out entirely too fast to be freshly made...unlike the way it used to be. Heavy metal was a little much and it was playing way too loud.

Really Fresh ingredients, Large portions and Cheap eats!

Cute atmosphere and good food and really quick service. No complaints at all

Tofu enchiladas and guac are great.
