Great food, best service and an AMAZING atmosphere

Love this bar but it badly needs an uplift ,carpet definitely needs to go, staff are great,food is good and the atmosphere is cool

The Black Badger has a lot of character and a great drink menu. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has no dress code. Expect lots of loud chatter and the occasional live band. Serving staff are attentive, polite, and courteous. This is a good venue for a couple drinks with friends.

I didn't find the food very good. I had the fish and chips. The fish was very chewy. The waitress was very nice but service was kind of slow but I think she was by herself so probably not her fault. Sat on the patio it was nice.

This was my Dad's favourite watering hole, and in honour of him, my sister, our spouses, and I decided to stop in for dinner.Great little "hole in the wall" English pub, though you wouldn't be able to tell the pub was English by the food. Flavourful and aromatic butter chicken; fresh, crisp lettuce for the Caesar salad; and quality bread for the sandwiches. The dessert offerings were decent if uninspired, but it's a pub, not a dessert bar; having desserts on offer at all is just an added plus.We may need to make a stop here a tradition of sorts. Five stars. Thanks for the recommendation, Dad.

Great atmosphere, rotating tap (somewhat). Few vegan or sour beer options. No collective arts is a bit of a letdown.

Classic English pub. Always packed with friendly locals. Food is superior to standard pub fare.

My friends and I ordered some take out food the other night from there cause it was past 11 on a Saturday night in Cambridge and wanted something other than pizza for late night food. We got a bunch of wings three flavours: hot, honey garlic and the salt N'pepper and they were all very tasty, the latter being my favourite. I admit this place hasn't always been on my short list of after work destinations, but it's growing on me. Must be that old school British charm I here so much about. ;)They sometimes have live music, that draws a big crowd. The servers are so awesome here and very friendly. I don't know how they manage to stay so chill when the place is crowded on a weekend night with a live band going.They also have Sunday brunch. I will need to make that my next voyage to this quaint humble pub.
