Bistro Versailles

Nice French bistro in the heart of downtown shopping area. $19 two course weekday lunch is a good value. The squash soup was needing flavor but the Bronzio picata was goo. Loved the French bread rolls ( I had to ask for it again ) & chocolate ganesh..outstanding. service was just ok ... at a nicer restaurant I do not want to ask for bread or water refills. Also .. need to circle back after mains are served and check in... fresh pepper would be a nice touch. 4 stars for food & 3 stars for service.

Took my 14 French students there and we all had a wonderful time. They all enjoyed their food and the staff was amazing. Plan on taking two hours for lunch if you are taking a large group—we loved it! Thank you to Marc for a delicious meal and experience!

The food, and service were terrific. Loved the updated French bistro ambience.

Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Service was prompt. We had the chicken BLT and an omelette. The sandwich was loaded and tasty. It came with fries that I wasn’t aware of but would have preferred the option to switch to a side salad. The omelette was good. They had a bottle of water on the table. The restaurant was busy but not too loud or anything. The person on the door wasn’t particularly welcoming and I found it weird the first question asked was “Do you want coffee with cream?” But otherwise I’d go again.

Very good meal, good cooking and good service. I'll go back next time I'm in town.

Nice atmosphere and more casual than many of the other restaurants in the area...great handmade cocktails!

Great place food and people watching. Enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited for my order and basked in the sun on this fine afternoon. My only complaint about the place is that the waiter I had was not very tentative and more than once I had to get the attention of a helper to get my needs met.

I arrived, asked the nice girl at the bar if I could sit there, no problem, she recommended the mushroom omelette and it was fantastic. Pleasantly surprised. Greenwich doesn't have many good places for breakfast, but this is one of them.

Not bad at all, but maybe not quite worth an hour and a quarter drive. If I lived near, I'd try it again.

The best bar in Greenwich. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place - the food, the drinks, the happy hour options (every day!), and the atmosphere are second to none. They also have such a friendly and nice team of people. Alex and Arturo are awesome!
