Tunisia on your doorstep in Quebec City! The Bistro La Goulette is the ideal place to travel for a meal. Small restaurant that is worth the detour. Warm atmosphere, tables arranged to promote intimacy. Music and Tunisian decor, and typical Tunisian cuisine ... Aromatic and tasty dishes, generous portions. Cook and waiter (of Tunisian origin) are smiling and attentive. I have traveled to this country and I dare to say that it is Tunisian cuisine at its best! So travel! Enjoy! ...

Maghreb cuisine of a delicacy that stands out. Excellent quality, freshness and presentation of dishes.

Everything was authentic and TASTY! Very good food. (Service was excellent, but it was sooo busy for the only waitress that wait times were a little long) Especially recommended: The Fish Tajine with Candied Lemon!

We tried this beautiful bistro this evening. We are a family of four and decided to try different options from the set menu (lamb, chicken, pastilla, kefta). We were so glad we did. The food was delicious with authentic flavors and beautiful presentation. The dessert was an splendid ending to a great experience. To add to this delicious meal, the service was amazing. The hosts were very friendly, attentive to our needs and went above and beyond. We felt completely at home and would highly recommend this place!

Absolutely superb tunisian food. I had the couscous with merguez. Sausage was great, vegetables perfectly cooked (not mushy) and diverse, flavors were great. My wife had the seafood tagine, which was also wonderful. A real find!

Nice looking, but very average tasting food unfortunately. Service was fine, but nothing special on my visit. One dish suitable for vegans; the falafel. I would recommend Bachir's, which is below this restaurant, instead.

What a great discovery. We loved the one-on-one formula with its generous platter of dishes to share. The lamb was tender and tasty, like the other dishes. Nice choice of homemade desserts.

Sometimes you try a highly rated restaurant and you wonder what am I missing? This is not one of those restaurants. Every item we tried from appetizer to main dish was extremely well designed and packed with tasty surprises. If you love the flavors of North Africa you are going to be very happy. The spicing was balanced and the dishes transported you right to a Tunisian home. Don't forget to try the baklava is the best I have ever had.
