Been here only once and had gnocchi and it was the best I've ever had. Love the atmosphere. Great service too.

Last week i visited Bistro Bohem. I am a celiac so I ordered Gluten free Hamburger. I must say that was the best burger i have eaten in my life! So delicious , tasty and even with gluten free bagel! The ingredients were fresh and combined into delicious final product. If you like bistros with home made meals, where it feels like home, this is the right place to eat :-)The style of bistro is cozy, feels warm and friendly.Also staff is very helpful and friendly, warm smile they give you feels great. If you are not sure what to eat, they navigate you trough the menu and help you to find the best choice for you. For drink bistro offers great variety of drinks, including cold tea and hot tea. My favorite is Mango tea, I love it. Definitely i want to come back and eat there again, and I highly recommend this bistro to everyone ! :-)

This place is amazing. I got the mule, and old fashioned for drinks, both were great. Had the pierogi, borscht, and pickled brie for appetizers... borscht is next level. Had the duck for the main course, and was cooked to perfection. Tried the ghoulosh as well which was awesome. Highly recommend, and already planning to come back.

I've been meaning to come here for years and after going this morning I'm sad to report that it didn't live up to my expectations.I get the impression that they weren't prepared for the New Year's crowd that came in today, which is surprising considering DC restaurants are always busy on New Year's Day. There wasn't an empty table in the place but only three waiters who couldn't do everything they needed to do. Our party of three ordered very simple and minimal things and it just took too long -- over 15 minutes for a whiskey neat, and half an hour for grilled cheese from the kids menu. Service was very slow and lacking and when we received the final bill it included two items that we try to order initially but they told us were not available from the kitchen. On top of all of this the food was just fine but nothing stood out as special.I might come back one day for a drink but don't anticipate being back for a meal.

The brunch selection was great! The service was very friendly and helpful. The spinach and mushroom crepes were a delicious savory brunch dish that I would order again!

All Czech people behind the bar/servicing the tables when I went. Good coffee, made me a Melange with the steamy creamy. Cutlet with waffles outranks the chicken and waffles for me!! Great experience.

My son and I had lunch here. My son had the Schnitzel sandwich with fries. I had the Borscht soup, it is actually more like a delicious stew. The cocktails are also very tasty. The food is outstanding along with the ambience of this charming restaurant.

So happy we stopped here on our visit. The service was great. The food was delicious. The atmosphere and decor are nice, love the outdoor seating.

Great food find! The atmosphere here is great and the food is phenomenal! We had homemade pierogi, burgers and this fantastic gnocchi with goat cheese. Everyone in our group loved their meal. Highly recommend this place.

Glad to see lots of people appreciate this place as well.If you're new to central European cuisine, you can start with the Rarášek (potato-batter-fried chicken) to get some sense of the flavors at play. Then, if you're ready to delve deeper, don't miss out on the Pickled Brie.Every main dish I've tried so far has been great. As others note, the Pilsner Burger is a real winner (great mix of universally beloved flavors with some extra flair), but the Halušky and all the Schnitzel options (either the main dish or the clubs) are also real standouts.The Medovnik (honey cake) is a delightful dessert of the sort that you won't find in many other places.They also have extremely affordable lunch/happy hour specials that make stopping in for lunch or early dinner a real bargain.

Came here on a whim for Saturday brunch a few weekends ago. I always seem to pass this place in Shaw, but I’m so glad we stopped here that day. The bartender was on point with our drinks and the food was a fun twist to the classic Southern brunch choices. Get the Chicken Schnitzel! 😋

Waiter actually took a really long time to get simple small things and one person from our table had to keep getting up to ask for things he had forgotten. Food was very good though. They add 20% gratuity automatically for big groups which is pretty frustrating.
