Excellent place to watch games. Good food, good beer, marvelous selection of gins, great service. Prices are fair but portions could be a bit bigger. Good place for brunch. Highly recommend it if you are in the Mile End.

Can not recommend this place enough.. I have been hunting for a steak since I arrived in Montreal.. They delivered and WHAT A STEAK!! If you're in the plateau area, swing by and get the steak you will not be disappointed.. Oh and the bar staff are pretty cool, and the British punk ambience is perfect

Very well executed pub fare. Had the burger with aoli taters. Excellent. Wouldn't change a thing.

Amazing food for a pub... Fresh and deliciously creative choices. Staff are friendly, the little patio is super cute. The Cesar's are amazing.

Really delicious food and very pleasant atmosphere. Nice rustic approach. I highly recommend as it's been thoroughly consistent in terms of quality/ambience for me.

Walked in with our toddler for an early seating. The steak dish was really really delicious - surprising for a pub. Perfectly cooked and the brussels sprouts were amazing, and they run the risk of tasting like Brussels sprouts at every other restaurant these days... Very kind to our kiddo despite the havoc one that age can create. An overall very pleasant experience!

This is a gin drinkers paradise!! (And other drinkers too) Walking in to Bishop and Baggs is like walking into an authentic pub in the centre of London. The service is well above the standard expected. The staff are well versed in great drink options. Don’t be shy to ask for a recommendation or two. They specialize in gin so don’t be shy to ask for their gin menu. They offer gin’s from all over the world so try something new. Their menu has some great options but as a vegetarian it’s limited. It is, however very LGBT friendly.

We went there for food and drinks. The food menu is very nice and diversified. Lamb kebab was very good, as well as the salads. They also have a small and cozy terrasse, but it closes at 11pm. Staff is very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience.

A lot of places get labeled as having "creative pub food" or are called "gastro pubs" and wind up being normal places with a couple creative sauces. This place actually earns those descriptors-- it's a mix of innovative, fun dishes and classic comfort foods (grilled cheese and tomato soup, for example). The environment is really cozy, a classic English wood paneled pub with a stained wood bar, I imagine it's a good place to catch a soccer match, nice selection of English beer and cider. The kind of place you wish was in your neighborhood.

Located on the heart of the Mile-end neighbourhood Bishop & Bagg is an amazing English style pub that serves fantastic drinks and delicious breakfast. A must go for a night drink with friends or to cure an hangover with a breakfast/brunch.

Went in on a rainy day not expecting much. They had a great liquor selection with over 200 different gins. The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about gin and even offered a tasting/flights menu. I would absolutely go here again.

Nice selection of drinks. Menu items have not failed thus far; their dishes can vary based on seasonal ingredients. Their bread is to die for. A memorable dish was pork chop served in a sweet sauce with endives as a side dish. The meat was beautifully cooked; tender and juicy. The sauce was predominantly sweet but well balanced with subtle fruity acidity. Prices are reasonable but can be a little high on some menu items. Sunday evenings are trivial nights which creates a pretty fun vibe. Definitely has a pub feel so not ideal for dates but definitely cool for a get together with a bunch of friends. Highly recommended.

Questions & Answers

You should be able to park on St Denis, there are few spots available near the pub but it's mostly taken during the normal work hours.
