Big Time Diner

Today was first time I actually ate there (carry- out in the past) and it was delicious. But the best part was the service. Devan was awesome!! Made my BIRTHDAY lunch just perfect!!! I'll be back!

My wife and I have eaten here every now and then for the past 18 years. We've never been disappointed. They are almost always busy, which should say something right there. Their food and service is always good. My personal favorite is their Shrimp Poboy. We also like to get their fried green tomatoes. The wait is not usually very long when their is a wait. My only complaint is the parking area is a little cramped, but there isn't anything they can do about that due to the location. Other than that....two thumbs up!

Good food and great service everytime I've been.

The food here is very good and reasonably priced. They have a very wide selection (burgers, salads, dinner plates, shakes, malts etc.) They use Blue Bell ice cream for the shakes/malts! They are very busy at lunchtime and the wait is usually pretty quick. Service is pretty good but sometimes slow;also could use a better cleaning throughout.

I love the food. I wish the hats they have on display were replaced with some items from the 50's instead. I also wish the little juke boxes at the tables worked.

It's been a staple of the neighborhood for at least a decade. The food is good home style cooking. Some of the staff have been there as long as I recall so that speaks volumes about the management.

Very friendly and efficient service and food

My family and I have been going to Big Time Diner since they opened. The food and service is always wonderful, prices are fair, and nice atmosphere.... BUUUUT, you guys have got to get new flooring. The smell when you walk in wreaks of sour, mouldy, dirty carpet/tile. 4 to 5 stars with updated/clean flooring.

This is a staple for me when I head back home. It's always packed and the food is incredible! If you want a burger and a shake, or an amazing salad with delicious diner ranch, they have you covered. I prefer the chicken Philly with lettuce and tomato. It's so good! But you can't go wrong with anything. I've tried it all and loved it all! See you next time I'm in town!

Good place to come for honest food. Not fancy, just American style straightforward food. Love their tuna salad, go figure. Gravy and potatoes top notch. Good people manage this wonderful place.

Very nice and polite staff and good service. Lots of tasty and affordable options. We had some less than stellar sides, but that's about the only negative. Additionally their dessert options are plentiful and everything we had was really tasty. I recommend it if you have picky eaters in your group.

Usually very packed but the wait isnt too long. Great food, friendly and fast service, and a good variety on the menu. Would highly recommend.

My best friend introduced me to Big Time Diner and it is one of my favorite restaurants here in Mobile! The food is ALWAYS consistently great and when I have out-of-town guests, I take them there and they always want to go back too.

Good food, great atmosphere! Food, especially turnip greens + fried okra were delicious! Onion rings were good, too. Milkshakes were awesome! Prices very reasonable!
