Big Four Cafe

Meh. Food isn't bad, but paper straws (really?) and an unprofessional staff make it mediocre at best.Returned on 13 Feb and it seems to have improved! Had the Cuban sandwich and it was really good. The waitress was pretty sharp and on the spot with drink refills when needed.Aasannnddd went back again. 40 minute wait, waitress couldn't care less.....This place is either fantastic or really bad, just depends on your luck.

Food is great! Price is great! The restaurant is in the large brick building. Somewhat obscure, worth the trip.

Delightful little place, excellent service, great food, very happy with this find! My daughter and grandkids live in Indianapolis so this is a great halfway point to where we live in Cincinnati. There were five adults and two small children and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in till the moment we left. Phoenix was our server, she was great, can't wait to go back to this place and try more of the delicious food!

I misunderstood the menu about the small salad with a sandwich is a SUBSTITUTION for a dollar which I would have gladly took a salad instead of the onion rings which were extremely greasy. While the small salad I got was fresh and tasty, it was not worth $7 to me. The american cheese steak and BLT sandwiches were good . The hoagy bread had nice texture. I wish you sold half sandwiches though or had a small appetite menu.

Ordered the shrimp po boy and onion rings. Everything had way too much pepper on it, the po boy didn't have any dressing, and a can of Diet Coke was $2.

Had a great lunch here. Was in Batesville for business and googled cheap restaurants and we were so glad we found Big Four Cafe. Delicious food and very friendly staff who were very honest and not your typical "Customer service robot wait staff".I definitely recommend you eat here!

A great find and hidden gem! My wife had the apple cinnamon pancakes and I had the pressed rotisserie chicken bacon avacado wrap. Best fries (hand-cut) I've had in a long time. The service was awesome and my 2-year old's mini pancakes and bacon we're FREE! The atmosphere is and service is impeccable. The food is of high quality. I highly recommend!

I honestly want to move to Batesville just because of Big Four Cafe! My boyfriend and I were camping in Batesville this past weekend and decided to go out for breakfast Saturday morning. We found this place on a Google search. First of all it is the cutest little place! Secondly the food was absolutely amazing and even that feels like its lacking in describing how good it was. I had the breakfast burrito and he had the biscuits and gravy. I then ordered an iced mocha to go. That was hands down the best iced mocha I have EVER had!! The food was so good we decided to have breakfast there again on Sunday! It definitely did not disappoint on the second day either! The prices are amazing for the portions. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was super clean. All around a great place!!!
