Big City Small World Bakery

I purchased a wedding cake here and I couldn’t have been happier with the results! The owner was helpful and professional. Everyone loved the carrot cake we chose, so much so every piece was taken home after the wedding!

This is a great local organic bakery. I've lived on the West Side for years and this is an important part of our community. Thanks for being there!

What a great bakery! Good sandwiches, incredible pastries and of course, fresh coffee. Everything reminded me of Europe, the flavor, the perfect bakes, it all brought back good memories. I'll be stopping by here again when in the area just to see what's up that day.

Big City Small World is a wonderfully cozy and uniquely Ann Arbor-ic place! Great staff and great food! The cafe brims with delectable treats and warm feeling. Thank you BCSW (or, as my kids say, "yellow house") for bringing joy to the corner of Miller and Spring.

Fresh, tasty desserts. Very nice owner.

My 8 y.o. daughter and 14 y.o. son said really great food!! (though from a parental Health perspective my children did not make the most optimal choices although they do have some healthier food like fruit and deviled eggs). They now serve ice cream and mango sorbet. My mom likes the coffee and enjoy the air conditioning today when it was 98 degrees outside. Note that there is no restroom nor a wheelchair ramp to avoid the stairs.

What a cozy little bakery! So many vegan and vegan gluten free options (you can even order gluten free and vegan cakes!). They have great vegan cinnamon rolls and I love the gluten free vegan cupcakes. They also serve food roast coffee, yummy teas, and delicious iced drinks (my favorite is the fresh mint limeade). The owner is also great with kids. Knows just how to talk with them in "their language". Will be coming back again and again.

Got two scones from here and they were both delicious. Good service and I would definitely go back
