Big Apple Bakery

I used to work at the Rite Aid next door. Every morning shift the whole back room would smell like baked goods and let me tell you it was hard not to run outside and buy a muffin! One day, a fellow employee who was on a diet couldn't take it anymore and had to run over before his shift and buy a bun. Some of the best baked goods I have ever tasted, and they will write anything on a cake. Sometimes they have lines out their door. They are Manahawkin's best bakery.

The Italian bread was terrific, the rainbow cookies were outstanding and the Apple strudel was better still. There was only one problem, we didn't buy enough! The relaxing hour long drive was worth it.

Love Big Apple Bakery

This place was referred to me by a friend. I recently went their for Thanksgiving and had a great experience. Staff is super helpful, Store is clean and the selection of baked goods, pies, pastries, etc. is great! I purchased the pumpkin pie which may have been the best one I've ever had along with some cannolis, bread, and a cheese ring. Everything was truly amazing and to find it locally was what blew my mind. I will for sure be going back!

Doesn't get any better!

I prefer some items and others are not my favorite..I wrote that 2 years ago...and lately have had the occassion to go back and try them again. What a difference! I don't know what it is but most recently I had a wonderful experience with a last minute Birthday cake - my boss forgot to order it...I called first thing in am and they got one ready within the hour..plus when I went to pick up ..they gave me some rolls just to try. Very friendly and welcoming!

Just ok .... nothing to write home about. Crumb cake is pretty good but I’ve had better.

My husband and I cannot thank Joe and the entire staff at The Big Apple Bakery for the amazing wedding cake they made for us. The wedding cake was incredibly tasty and was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I highly recommend The Big Apple Bakery for any future wedding cakes!

Visited this bakery over the Memorial Day weekend, so much to choose from. Everything looked so delicious I couldn't make up my mind. I went with the walnut danish, cheesecake and a dozen pastries. All my quests raved. Guess I will be back agin this weekend.

Great range of fresh baked tasty goods. Also has excellent stuffed breads. Friendly staff.
