Had a lovely lunch there yesterday - summer rolls, spicy squid, bbq pork & noddles with fish cakes- all delicious, prettily presented and pleasantly served- great experience all round!

I've been coming here for a few years and have always had lovely food and service. It's a regular dinner spot with my other friends who live in the area. The tofu banh mi is great. Pity about some of the mental reviews this place has had in the past from some real nasty people.

Super great, fresh food and totally reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. A completely delicious Banh Mi is like £7.50 so I'm not sure about complaints on price on this place. Noodles, Pho, and rice dishes I think are similarly reasonable. I recommend highly. I will forgive the not super comfortable chairs...! Remember it's cash only!

Have had takeaway from here before and loved it. So we decided to visit the restaurant for a sit down meal. It's was so nice, we will never get takeaway again, as we will just come in and enjoy the food. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the actual owner/chef himself came out and had a chat with us. Highly recommend you to give Uncle Nam's a try.

I am a regular here, I've always didn't have time to write a review. I have to point out, the customer service the waitress are trained to be friendly and polite, this I appreciate very much. The music is abit too loud on some days. London is stressful to live and it would be nice to suggest if the restaurant have calmer music with less volume. The restaurant will shine through more of a relaxing atmosphere - if you will. The food is authentic, but it would be nice to have more selections and desert menu? Owners are very nice open minded people.I'd give 5 stars. Wish you the best.

The food was very good and we didn't have to wait long for it. Service was kinda friendly, could've been a bit better though. If you go on a warm sunny day, eat outside if you can. It's a good experience :)I ordered salt and pepper squid for starters and chicken Pho for mains. Very tasty

Amazing new Vietnamese restaurant in Stoke Newington. Everything I've tried so far has been nothing less than great! Pork vermicelli are probably my favourite. Disclosure: I run their website and social media assets.

Uncle Nam’s is an attractive, clean and friendly restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese dishes. The Pho is delicious! Uncle Nam’s limits its menu to a few really good and authentic choices. It is not fancy, just good. The prices are really good, especially in view of the quality of the food. We’ve eaten there many times and have never been disappointed.

Nice little place but let down by the quality of the ribs, just a bundle of gristle. Nice staff, good location.

Stoke Newington lacks a good Vietnamese restaurant but Uncle Nam's does a good job of filling that gap. The menu isn't as varied as some of the Shoreditch competition but what it does offer is very good and the specials mean there's enough variety to keep you interested. Prices are comparable to most similar restaurants and the cafe style has a nice atmosphere, as well as a decent wine selection and drinks offering.Our starter and mains were decent on portion size and price, as well as being tasty enough to think about coming back. I have had better takeaway Vietnamese from round N16/N5 but for a meal out this place is well worth checking out.**currently cash only, close to local cash machines.

Beautiful local restaurant offering an authentically delicious menu. I have been a regular customer for a long time now and is my favourite place on my local high street. Brilliant for a quick lunch or a long dinner with friends and family and the staff in the place are always warm, friendly and show true 'old-school hospitality'. Thank you to all the team at Uncle Nam's for all the days and nights of tasty food, good company and beautiful atmosphere.
