Stellar spot for quick vegan sushi and Asian-fusion fare. Great service but not a lot of seating. Highly recommended for herbivores.

First let me state you don’t have to be a vegan/vegetarian to love the unique offerings at Beyond Sushi. From its fresh ingredients to the special combinations of flavor, the “sushi rolls†will become a favorite! We love the spicy mango roll, the mighty mushroom roll and the pickle me roll. All are wrapped in black rice. Great dumplings are also offered as well as excellent wraps, and salads. Every month they offer a unique roll and dumpling and we always order the specials. Great soups as well as desserts! Try the black bean brownie! The cucumber mint lemonade is also excellent. Many locations around Manhattan so don’t pass this special place up. Anyone appreciating good food will love Beyond Sushi! Truly an original!

FAVORITE sushi place ever! Always clean, always amazing service, food is top-notch. Whatever you get, make sure you order the Fun Guy dumplings (even if you don’t like mushroom!).

I personally really dislike using quinoa instead of sushi rice. Was excited to try specialty rolls since they are usually not vegan at regular sushi but was a major let down. Dumplings were also very floppy and too soft. Tight quarters for a sit down with menu place. Overall just a poor experience.

This food is amazing! Beautiful to look at and exploding with flavor! Good price, nice portions and the staff is very friendly. There are only a few tables in this location, but my wife and I still have a nice, cozy time eating there. Pictured rolls: la fiesta and sweet tree and the dumplings from the spring specials menu.
