Bern's Steak House

Great place and definitely worth the visit. Food was amazing (although the steak was not on par with Charlies), I will say that there is such a huge selection of steaks that next time I will try another cut and it may change my mind. The atmosphere and attention from the staff is exceptional. The prices are fair and sides were perfect. We skipped the tours but indulged in the dessert room and feel it was the best part of the night. We will be back!

Love the amazing food and the great service. Has so many delicious options. But know that you are truly just paying for a name. It is a fun experience and that's what it is. I feel you can get the equivalent of most offered there for a much more inexpensive price.

An experience like no other. This place gives you a taste of what Tampa has to offer. Great food, serenading music, happy and passionate staff, and luxury of course. It was my 21st birthday and we went straight up to the dessert room (without a wait...that's unheard of). There was an amazing pianist who played any song we requested. The desserts and the drinks were out of this world. They offered us a tour of the restaurant and the wine cellar which blew my mind. The rich history of this restaurant alone is enough to make someone become a regular.

Took my wife there for our anniversary. Bern’s is more than arguably the best steakhouse in the country, it is a true experience to be had whether you live in Tampa or are just visiting. The Chateaubriand is to die for. As world travelers we have enjoyed some of the worlds finest cuisine, and Bern’s is a premier steakhouse that should be experienced by anyone visiting Tampa Bay. The service was impeccable and the separate dessert room offered a unique experience that is not to be missed.

There was a group of us that ate here. Unfortunately we were pressed for time so we had to forego dessert and the tour but the meal was excellent. The interior of the restaurant reminded me of a Chicago steakhouse, warm and inviting. Most of our group ordered steak and thoroughly enjoyed them. I had lamb and it was cooked perfectly. The price is fair considering what is included. Our server, Harrison, was outstanding. He was friendly not stuffy and anticipated our needs. We would love to go back and take our time to enjoy the entire experience.

Very fancy. I love the valet parking. I thought it was creative how you eat each meal in a different room. I highly enjoyed the tour of the winery in the basement past the kitchen. I have never been in a restaurant before that had that option. The only reason I give Bern’s a 4/5 stars is because of the location. It is located in the low end part of Tampa.

Really, really delicious dining experience. The waiter was very knowledgeable. The steak was amazing. We shared the Chateaubriand that served 5. All I can say is, Wow!! That is one big piece of beef. Cooked perfectly, rare to med rare and so flavorful. They offer tours of their kitchen & wine cellar, which we did & found it to be very interesting. Then there is the dessert room. Interesting little individual seating areas, like your inside a wine cast? You can choose what type of music you want, if you want any at all. And the coffee, spirits & dessert choices...again Wow!! Great experience. Great food.

WOW! This place is incredible!! It was my first time here, and I was told it's a dining experience which is very true.Our waiter James was great, martinis perfect, food excellent! After dinner, we got the full tour of the kitchen and incredible wine cellar! After which we proceeded upstairs to the dessert floor, where we had delicious desserts coffee, and after dinner drinks. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and would go back again!

Best steakhouse in the Tampa Bay area and may also even be the best in Florida. There is truly nothing like Bern's steakhouse. Also there dessert room was amazing and they also have the largest collection of wine. You gotta check it out on the tour. Prices were really not as bad as I thought. I'll be back!
