Benvenuto's Italian Grill

Their soups are to die for. I love the lighting. One bad thing is that I think they are a little too shady with pasta. Come on! it's an Italian restaurant. The pasta should be above average portions

It was very enjoyable. Food was great. I had the baked salmon. Emily was awesome and so was the young man helping her serve us all. Kitchen staff prepared everything very satisfactory. They did a great job taking care of our bus load of people. I am very satisfied with our experience.

The food is constantly well prepared and yummy, employees hands over fantastic service. I really like how neat it is and ambience. Will come back again.

Wonderful Italian restaurant! The service here is amazing. It's a cozy place for the entire family. I have lived on the north side for years and this is truly one of our favorites. Everything is made to the highest standard. I love the butternut squash ravioli and apple crisp. We highly recommend this place.

We ordered several different dishes for a work birthday lunch. Jess who answered the phone and took my order was so friendly, organized and extremely helpful. When I called to pick up my food, there were several signs posted on the restaurant windows on what number to call to let them know that I arrived. This is a strange time, but I have to say Jess and this location have this down! The no contact pick up and the entire ordering process was so easy and safe. Thank you for your organization skills and making me feel safe. Oh, and the food was delicious as well! Way to go Benvenutos! We will be back! Mendota Mental Health employees appreciate you! The place looks very nice. Seems clean... bathrooms were clean. Generous portions on the food. Service... much ti be desired. I feel bad because our waitress was very friendly. However, she was very very slow. I asked for a straw 3 times and resorted to getting one from another waitress. The bread appetizer took over 20 minutes to arrive. Asked for a wet nap for my ribs, got about 20 of them... and another straw that was unneeded. Ribs are tasty, though not the most tender. Cod was ok. Nothing special. As I write this, I'm waiting quite a long time to pay so we can go.

The service here can be hit or miss. Many members of the staff is excellent but a few bad experiences can change your rating. Food is always at excellent quality and this place is truly one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

Good food staff very cooperative

Steve was our waiter. He is new & excellent, very attentive!! Part of the shrimp in the shrimp tetrazini very translucent, not pink. Tasted not quite done. But was delicious as always! Spinach & mushroom lasagna was absolutely delicious also. Good addition to menu!! Peanut butter pie was decadent. We got there quite early-4:30- became justly shortly after. Thank you
