Ate here for the first time today. This small hole-in-the-wall luncheonette was packed! If you are looking for atmosphere, this is not the place for you BUT if you are looking for good food, this is the place! I had a sausage and pepper/onion sandwich. The fresh role was overflowing with meat, peppers and onions. The others I was with also enjoyed their meal. We all determined we would be back again. They are known for their milk shakes (I did not have one).

My favorite place for breakfast or lunch! Food is great and the servers are very friendly. My husband and I go there at least once a week or more. I highly recommend going here.

Benny's is a nice, reasonably priced, cozy establishment. I'm upset I didn't find out about this place before. The breakfast selection was great, and the food all really hit the spot. They have small dishes if you just want to nibble, but you can go all out here just like at any other diner-type establishment, too. I love the bar, booth, and table seating layout of this place. Highly recommend, especially if you live nearby, because I bet you'll become a regular.

Great place to eat. Amazing omlettes. Good sandwiches. Highly recommended. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Worth the trip.

We had the corn beef Reuben, rib eye steak, hot pastrami sandwich and corn beef hash!!! They were huge portions, fresh and absolutely delicious. We then had a crazy smore shake too! It was so so yummy! We definitely coming back!!

I must have missed something here, the other reviews are not what my wife and I experienced.... From the moment we walked in the door, the lady at the cash register gave us a scowl. We sat down right away because the place was very close to empty but the young waitress sitting at the counter had no intention of getting up to help us.. she saw us, looked at us a couple of times. It wasn't until she and I made eye contact that she got up .. first tried to walk in the other direction, but then went to get a menu for us. Clearly we weren't in her section and she wanted no part of us. She then handed to menus to another woman (seemed like maybe the owner) for her to give them to us... Super weird!! My wife and I were really confused. The owner lady tried being very nice and sweet, but not that good at it. Food came out quickly and was fine. We definitely won't be back, and don't recommend.

This place is a great spot for breakfast and my usual choice. Great corned beef hash and pancakes are also great, especially the seasonal specialty ones like pumpkin. If you have a sweet tooth, they own a bakery two doors down with homemade ice cream and delicious baked goods. So if you order a shake at Benny's, know your getting it fresh as can be. A grilled, buttered muffin also hits the spot. For lunch, they've got burgers of course, but if you want a big fill, their pastrami is enormous. Bring your appetite. And what visits complete without a bucket of fresh made sweet tea!
