Bella Vista

Bella Vista is a quaint family Italian restaurant in the North End with good Italian food. Get on Open Table and get a reservation, because it can be hard to just drop in on a weekend evening. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. Lots of foot traffic going by so it can be great people-watching. The service is quick and the people are nice. We sat near the window in the front and watched the crowds walk by as we ate. Nice atmosphere!

A nice, cozy American-Italian restaurant with a family-run vibe--as typical for the area as it gets. The food is great, nothing outstanding but properly made. Definitely has the Little Italy magic.

On business trip to Boston and thought that the price of food would be very expensive. Surprised how reasonable the price is for this restaurant! Food is quite big portion too. Feels like home cooked meal and food tasted good too. Food arrived quite quickly. May be we came on a busy night but would be nice if the server would smile a bit more.

Best little hidden gem in the north end. Best pasta sauce (red) in the north end. And I am VERY PICKY about my italian food. I rarely eat pasta outside my own kitchen. Seafood is always fresh and the anti pasto is to die for. Portions are big so go hungry. Family run and owned. Very comfortable atmosphere. CLEAN!!

Great food, quiet atmosphere. Make sure you get a reservation because they will turn you away otherwise (good thing). Cons: no oil provided with the bread but the bread was fresh and warm.Would go to again

My husband and I had dinner with our good friends to celebrate the holidays at Bella Vista last night. The atmosphere is festive and tastefully done, the food is amazing, and the family who owns and runs the restuarant are sweet and made me feel welcome. I felt like part of their family. The antipasto is so good it's all I can think about! Just get in there and see for yourself!

This was an amazing place with amazing food. The owner himself came over took our order and chatted us up. It felt like a big family dinner being here. I ordered the eggplant and veal, I don’t think I’ve ever had veal so tender and delicious ever. I absolutely recommend the Bellavista! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We had such a great meal here. The food was excellent and priced very reasonably. The service was great and the owner was so nice and friendly. Highly recommend!!
