Beijing Kabobs

This is the first place I've found that the food is just like I was back in China, not to mention that the service was great. I will DEFINITELY be back!

I noticed this restaurant on ChowBus and when I saw it was close, we took a drive. It’s in a little complex. Only one or two other people were in there when we went - and the woman taking orders didn’t speak much English but the menu is straightforward and we were able to easily order. The hot and sour soup is enough for 4 people. It is a very mild hot and sour being neither hot nor sour - but vinegar, chili oil, and five spice are provided at the table which we appreciated. The soup wound up being delicious and I appreciated the ability to tweak to my preferences. The kebabs come in two forms - one via charcoal grilled skewer and the other with the ingredients dropped into a hot chili based soup broth. We enjoyed all of it. I think my only real complaint was that nothing hot and spicy in description was hot or spicy. Overall a good experience!

A great meal..really inexpensive

The food is tasty. I recommend the lamb kabobs.

For a place with kabobs in the name, the kabobs were the most disappointing part of the meal. They didn't taste seasoned at all. The dumplings were my favorite part of the meal, but even those were slightly above average. Given how many other places are nearby on Buford Hwy, I don't think I would return here.

This place is legit. It's not the prettiest, doesn't have the fanciest food, and it's a little dingy, but let me tell you, this is the first place to make me feel like I'm back eating at a family restaurant on the streets of Asia. Simple, authentic taste.

Lanb kabobs are great

It is exactly the taste of a child! ! Solutions nostalgia must-haves! The aunts are very special. We are late at work and can still eat tasty hot pots!This is very tipical beijing home cook taste. Great food and totally solved my homesick.

I have to only give 3 stars as I feel they can put more thinking into the spice to make more flavors.

Cold noodles are good~ and all skewers are delicious.

Lamb kabobs were awesome. The canned real chinese cold tea was the best. Corn and stuffed pastries were great. Real Beijing cuisine. Makes fake American Chinese taste like fake American Chinese. Experiment. You will be amazed. Trying the hot pot next time.
