Beef 'n' Barrel

The food was delicious but was barely warm when it arrived. The place was packed so we didnt send it back. Service was good. Waiter dutiful but not overly friendly, probably because they were sooo busy. The desserts were perfect & divine. This place is a long time family favorite so we keep going back...would have given 5 stars if our food was hot. I had beef on weck and ordered medium & the beef was delicious & tender, but luke warm. Maybe next time will be a 5 star visit. Still recommend this well-known local establishment. Especially recommend the chocolate mudd pie 😇 #heavenly

Ordered takeout. Associate took order without issues. Picked up food and it was ready at the time given. Food was awesome. Portion size was identical to that of dine in.

I don't think there was one thing we ordered that we didn't think was amazing. The blooming onion was huge and filled us right up. The meats were cooked to perfection. Our favorite part was the dessert! Amazing!

Best beef on wick you'll ever have in your life! I've been going here for 40 years!!! Still my all-time favorite restaurant ever. They have consistently kept their service and quality top notch from day one.

It's not only because their beef on wick is a delicious, unique experience,.their warm, German potato salad should not be missed. We've been one of their fans for over 50 yrs, when they were a small, exceptional restaurant on Olean's main street. And grew more exceptional over the years.

Quite good with reasonable prices and good service. I came with my seven co-workers on a Thursday night and they were very accommodating. As a NYC local, drinks here are insanely cheap, Jack and Coke were $4.25.... unheard of downstate! I shared the Delmonico Steak special and combo appetizer with one co-worker, the steak was HUGE and the appetizer quite tasty.

Great service and food! Well worth the wait. The vegetable beef soup is incredible because it's made with real beef. It's awesome to watch them cut the meat at the carving station.

The food here is awesome! Best Beef on Weck ever!!! Meat is carved for each person individually to their preference for doneness. I've never had a bad meal here! The atmosphere is wonderful and we had great service!
