Beacon Doughnuts

A really nice treat! Can’t imagine being able to afford this every weekend, but it’s great to see it be so popular at the Wicker Park farmers market! There is always a line albeit manageable for them, even as early as 9:30am on a Sunday. Even though I’m mostly a lemon lime citrus fan, my favorite was the Orange Rosemary Beignet because it had the perfect amount of flavor in each bite, and the dough was so fluffy and not too sweet. I would compare the Chocolate Brioche to the chocolate glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut, but MUCH more substantial, filling, and satisfying! If you like your glazed yeasty doughnuts, this one is a winner. The french toast doughnut was fun with a maple frosting cinnamon tasting cream filling, my least favorite of the three but still really enjoyed it! Such tasty donuts with a wide variety of options. I think the yeast donuts are a bit better than the cake donuts though. Be sure to get here early if you haven't put an order in , otherwise they may be out or very limited selection. We got here early afternoon once and they didn't have much selection left.

So overrated. Bread is dry and chewy. Flavors are good on paper only. I do like that they put dividers in the box so the donuts don't touch.

I recommend their chocolate frosted yeast donut!

I thought I've seen it all. People lined up in the alley to buy donuts. I guess anything goes during a pandemic. The donuts were super fresh and amazing.

Vegan donuts! Woo! I was hoping to try the boston cream but we got there close to closing time. Got the vanilla lavender instead and lemon poppyseed and the cinnamon roll donut. Donuts were soft in the inside and had that nice delicate crisp outside. Fun flavors! Perfect!

DELICIOUS. Their blueberry pancake donut is the best donut I've ever had. The fact that they're all vegan is a miracle

Highly recommend! As a person who can’t eat dairy and eggs these donuts were SO good. I got the regular glazed and the cookie dough filled!

My cousin surprised me with a vegan donut from Beacon; the salted caramel biscoff. I don’t eat donuts much, but if I do, it must be from here! Ohmygosh! It was so good, I ate the crumbs from the bottom of the paper bag!

The best donuts in Chicago. I got their blueberry pancake and coffee cake. Both are delicious.

We waited for about 30 minutes since I did not pre order. Doughnuts were all delicious. We tried the Birthday Cake, Boston creme, Blueberry Pancake and Sugar Cinnamon doughnuts.
