Bayt Al Wakeel-a building where each intriguing corner holds some history of Dubai.Bayt Al Wakeel was the first location of Dubai imports and exports and the hub of significant activity during the early years of development. the building has been preserved by the heritage department and is a showcase for Dubai. in 1981 Gray Mackenzie and company was appointed as the licensed shipping agents in Dubai. the company contributed to the development of the UAE by providing services to trading,shipping,insurance and transportation and was later entrusted with the task of operating the port complex at port Rashid. Bayt Al Wakeel Means "Agent Home" in Arabic. was was originally built as shipping office in 1935 on the Creek.

Nice extensive menu. Sea food along with Arabic cuisine. Brilliant views of the Abra. Clean place with excellent staff. Very friendly and highly accommodating.Price is on the higher side but would still recommend it for the experience.
