Basil Thai

One of best drink g experiences I've had. A very popular place. Great utensils and plates. Food is excellent. I'd recommend Red Curry with chicken. They have extra spices if you like your dish a bit hotter. Great dining experience!

This was my second visit to Basil and the food was amazing! The customer service is wonderful! We had a issue with one dish. The staff was very attentive and offered us several options. We’ll be back Basil!!

This Thai restaurant was quite an experience! The place is great for either a date or even with family. Took the family out to dinner and we enjoyed every bite. We tried the chicken fried rice, Yam tum soup(spicy) and Red curry crispy dusk with white rice(Amazing!)The service was great. Very polite and willing to give suggestion!Will definitely visit again.

two days ago was our first time we visited this restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the excellent meal and fine drinks and with the friendly price. We will definitely come back soon.

Service is what I would classify as slow, even at the bar on a Tuesday. Drinks were received and appetizers ordered, but our order wasn't taken until we flagged the bartender down and asked to put our order in. I expressed concern about the price and was assured that the portion size would justify the price. It didn't.The portion of Pad Kee Mow didn't come close to justifying the $17 price tag. I'd call it closer to a lunch sized plate, which I'd value at $10 max. The 1/2 price appetizer was nice and I feel like I got a good value.

The ambience was good, was greeted when we entered. We ordered Chicken Wontons, Red Curry and Vegetable Fried rice. Red Curry comes with a bowl of jasmine rice. We spiced up the items to Level 3, Level 4 being the max. The food taste was good, and plus points to the presentation. We were able to taste all the flavors of the food. As the taste was good, we didn't leave any food😉

Basil Thai Cuisine has been a good choice for Thai food in this are. Always consistent! Never an issue except for one time we had an waitress that kept disappearing. Regardless that was once and I’m sure she is not there anymore. We usually order the Coconut Chicken soup and the PadThai. Don’t forget to ask for the chili tray.

Always enjoy my time here. Atmosphere is upscale and very relaxed but professional. Food is delicious and very well made. Nothing is ever over done. It's balanced perfectly. There have been a few times dishes were not cleaned properly. Cups with lip prints and knives with finger prints upon the blades.

Take out order so I can’t speak to the atmosphere/service dining in. That being said, the food is 5/5. Awesome. It was hot and fresh, the flavors were incredible. I was very excited to find a Thai restaurant that can keep up with DC restaurants.
