Base Hakuba

If you are looking for western food in Hakuba, then this is your place. The burgers are not cheap (Â¥1200-1800) but they are 100% worth the price. The Chicken ones have almost a whole breast fillet on each burger.

This place became our go-to favourite when we forgot to make reservations for other places. Quick service with basic but quality food and good choice of drinks and good serving sizes. You will not leave hungry!Run by the same crew that has Base Coffee down the street, these guys have a simple menu but they do it very well.Highly recommended.

Cool hip burger and brew establishment here, from the moment you walk through the door your greeted with a groovy vibe and hand painted murals on the wall... a little Art Deco with some lux trimmings make this a happening burger bar. The schnitzels are generously crumbed and deep fried to perfection and the burgers are moist and moreish. Grab yourself a craft beer on tap and believe me Hakubas finest will not leave you disappointed. Quick and friendly service, what can I say you can’t ask much more really!! Great stuff.

The shakes are to die for! Was in Hakuba for four days, visited here for three! Their Peanut butter shake is great after a tiring day of skiing. Staff is friendly, but service might be slow based on crowd.
