Suzi was absolutely amazing! As soon as i stepped into the bar she made feel at home. Wow!!!! She made me feel as if i was visiting a close friend or a relative. Her level of service is rarely seen now a days. I definitely recommend this place to all! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!

Amazing food, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, attentive staff. Dishes you know with a twist. Beard award winning chef. Never had better posole in my life. Drinks are great, too. A must-go in Phoenix.

A must have! The food is amazing and chef Silvana is incredibly friendly and kind. My favorite drink here is the memosa! If you love tequila you will want to stop here and enjoy from a wide selection. One of the best brunch spots in Phoenix, AZ.

One of the best, most memorable and flat out delicious meals I have ever had in the US. This place is worth a trip to Phoenix. It’s been 5 years since first tasting the pomegranate guacamole and I’m still deeply thankful for the experience. Every dish is fantastic. Okay, just to be clear on my reco: as a child I spent time each year in France with my family (half French ) eating splendid food in neighborhood cafes and later in life have eaten in some of the best restaurant all over the world. Hands down this place has world class food and should have at least one maybe two Michelin stars. The ambiance is humble but the food is noble. More noble than many a starred Michelin restaurant.

Truly authentic. Prices are more like $$$ ... worth it if you appreciate authentic Mexican. Fresh ingredients. Pescado Del Mar is incredible.

I was blown away by the menu selection and then the food came....DELICIOUS! and the ambiance was so exhilarating! A definite place to experience one of the best meals in Arizona!!

It was a 98 occassion and I found Barrio Cafe the perfect place to say goodbye to my friend destined for Madagascar. We found a welcoming environment upon entering, a cold delicious drink in our hand shortly after as we waited to be seated. From there our server guided us to two scrumptious dishes and the rest was history. The best part was we had adequate leftovers which lasted pleasantly for a week. Simply put the food is fantastic!

Chef is not just an artist in the kitchen she was one of the most gracious people I have ever met on the road. If the art on the walls don’t move your spirit the good and love Chef Silvia has for her community will! Barrio cafe is a living museum inside and out! I hope to return one day. #santamexicana

This is my go-to place. The menu is so diverse that anyone will find something to eat. I am very impressed with server and manager and how well they take care of their customers. Definitely will come back.

The service was phenomenal, our waiter- Cesar- was one of the friendliest people I've ever met! The food was great too, what I liked the most was the guacamole and of course the spiked Horchata, which quickly became one of my favourite drinks ever!

Amazing! The happy hour tacos were $1.50 and I couldn't pass that up. The pork was incredible. The horchata was other worldly. 5 stars!

The food at Barrio Cafe was amazing. We shared a queso dip that was so good. Mole and seafood enchiladas were outstanding. But the service? I don't know if our server was having a bad night or what, but his attitude was so bad that it started to become funny. I'd definitely come back for the food, but the server we encountered maybe needs to re-think his career choice.
