Baronessa Italian Restaurant

Baronessa is my favorite family restaurant to go to! We have family dinners every Sunday and we usually end up going to Baronessa's most of the time because we love it and it's a great spot for large families. The customer service here is phenomenal! The staff are always friendly and the service is amazing. The menu has something everyone in the family can enjoy, like pizza, wings, gnocchi and salads. I definitely recommend trying their wings, stuffed eggplant and white pizza. We've created so many great memories here as a family and I always look forward to coming back.

Tried the pizza for the first time. It was excellent! Tasted very fresh and delicious. Had the margherita and the pepperoni. We'll definitely order again and try others!

We found the cuisine as some of the finest Italian we have ever experienced. The atmosphere and the service was perfect.The portions were extremely gracious and few in our party could finish their entrees.Highly recommended!!!

Incredible authentic pizza!! I've been dying to go here for a while and let me tell you, the food exceeds the revised!! The pizza is perfectly cooked and the service was wonderful! Sergio (our waiter) was friendly, fast, and attentive! I can't stop thinking about this pizza!! The crust was perfectly blistered and the toppings were so fresh! Angel (the owner) and I talked for a little while and he's been around wood fired pizza ovens for almost 20 years and had an incredible passion and knowledge for this cooking style. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant, their food, and the staff, one MUST experience the wonderful Baronessa, I know we will be regulars here!

Come here for lunch during work. The service is always excellent. The food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable (about $11 to $20 for a good meal). I love coming here.

Very friendly service and good pizza in the rockville area! Quite impressed

We flew in from Nashville yesterday and are staying at a hotel in Rockville. We ordered dinner from Baronessa and they were kind enough to deliver our order to the hotel after we mistakenly ordered for pick up. Baronessa is hands down the best Italian food we've had! My husband can't stop saying how amazing the calzone was! The next time we come back to DC we will come to Rockville just to eat at Baronessa!

The food was great so as the service. This place was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I actually went here. That won't be my last visit!

Yesterday was our first time we visited this restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the efficient service, with the first-rate dishes and wine and with the comfortable charge. We will definitely go back there soon.

We loved our dinner.We have been to this restaurant in Rockville for dinner and absolutely loved it. It's cozy and quiet. I am not a big eater and had a variety of appetizers with wine (house Merlot was excellent and Brussels sprouts from hot appetizers menu was great), my friend had grilled salmon salad and another friend had capesante risotto. Everything was served at once, the servers were knowledgeable and polite. Overall - a great experience.

Great Italian food. The service was great and the food was very good. It's difficult to find a good Italian restaurant that offers homemade pasta dishes. This was our first visit, but we will visit again.

Came here with 10 from my family on Mother's Day and had a great time. We had reservations as it was quite busy. We're Italian and my family can be very picky when it comes to Italian food. Everyone was happy with their food, which ranged from Salmon to pizza and calzones to pasta. I had the Monte y Mare pasta, which had shrimp and sausage with a light cream sauce. Very good. My brother had the house specialty squid ink pasta, which he enjoyed.We had several apps to start, including calamari, grilled cauliflower, stuffed eggplant, and white pizza. All very good.The place was packed but it never felt loud or noisy. We had a large round table, and were able to hear each other over the full restaurant of other Mother's Day diners.Service was great and food was on the lower side of reasonably priced.They had several large tables, so definitely a great spot for family dinners.

Good food at reasonable prices. Tried the wings, gnocchi and a pizza. Everything came out prepared as ordered. Interior is quiet yet the colorful walls make you feel like you’re not in a strip mall. Staff is attentive and ready to offer suggestions. Parking is plentiful.
