Barcha

I stumbled upon Barcha because I was looking for a restaurant in my community to host my wedding dinner. Google mentioned Barcha as an option so I did a little investigative work and began to follow them on IG. I decided to suggest to my fiance that we go to Barcha for date night and boy oh boy were we pleasantly surprised!! First off its WAY more beautiful in person. The pictures do NOT do the place justice! Second, we were welcomed so warmly by the owner who didn't even know we were there to check the place out for our special event. Lastly, the food was absolutely fantastic! We had Jibaritos, burgers, delicious beer and I had an Espresso Martini which I'd been dying to try! My overall experience was great! Food excellent! Service on point! I love that this family owned restaurant is in my community of El Barrio! I can't say enough about this spot! I love it!

Eating the Barcha burger and my sis eating a bacon egg and cheese. The fries are to die for. Very appetizing!!!! Nice and cozy bar area and spacious seating throughout the bar restaurant. Decent prices as well. Great music selections.

Great place for brunch, dinner or drinks in East Harlem. The space feels cozy and has a ramp for easy access. I liked some small details like the usb sockets to charge your gadgets, the clean restrooms, friendly and locally sourced staff. There is a private space you can book for birthday parties or group events. My wife has dietary restrictions and thought the menu was great. Got an early preview of the desserts, which tasted amazing. Great place to hang out with your friends for an afterwork or a date night. We will go back soon to check the pastries and hopefully the desserts menu.
