Barcelona Wine Bar

The staff here genuinely care about giving you the best dining experience. One of the managers, Ryan, remembered our order even after being out of town for a while. Our server constantly checked up on us, and the dishes were so tasty. The vibe is amazing as well and they allowed us to stay for 3 hours without complaining. Definitely must go!!!

I just would like to update my review, since I do not believe the original is valid any longer. The general manager contacted me after an initial bad time and was very receptive to my needs and concerns. They invited me back and provided myself and my date a wonderful night. We drank our full, we ate even more, the staff was wonderful and sweet and kind and all went well. Better than well. I appreciate them all for making up for valentines and just doing a great job all around 10/10 would come back again. Thank you again for a great night.

Great food (small portions though) and great service! The atmosphere was all around great as well. The low lighting gave such a warm feeling and they played very good music. The staff was kind and attentive. We were not familiar with the menu and had a lot of questions but they answer all and took the time to find out what lungs of things we liked to make the best suggestion. My friends and I hear a wonderful night and will definitely be going there again.

Love the location, the ambience and the service at this place. The food and drink options are quite unique and tasty. However, would have loved for more vegetarian options besides the starters.

Beautiful wine bar at a trendy location in New Haven. The food is amazing! Every dish seemed to have been better than the next. The sever did have a few recommendations and suggestions as it was our first time visiting. Presentation was unique. There is a very extensive wine list that your server will be able to help navigate through.

We came here for dinner and were quite pleased. It’s a nice place with fresh and modern decor. It can become a bit loud, but nothing too disruptive. Servers were nice and courteous. Food took a little while to arrive, however it was excellent. In particular, the croquettes and steak with truffle sauce were delicious. The vegetable paella was quite oily and our only major disappointment. It’s a good place to go to if in New Haven and would return. Recommended.

Had a nice visit at Barcelona New Haven on Thursday. I called in advance for a suggestion on where to park and how late the kitchen would be open. The Host was pleasant and gave me many helpful suggestions. I ordered a meat and cheese plate and a few other tapas. The Broccolini were FANTASTIC! The food is delicious and the cocktail menu is extensive. There are many options on the meh and you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get a great variety of tapas. The reason I deducted a star is because the patrons at night are a product of the area. After 10 pm you’ll have a lot of young college guests creating a less upscale vibe. Otherwise I have all great things to say about Barcelona.

A top three restaurant in New Haven. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. Went on a Monday and was impressed with how active and lively it was. Me and a colleague shared the Parillada, which is essentially a wooden meat slab from heaven of NY strip, sausage, pork loin, and the very impressive chicken that seemed to have a layer of seasoning that uniquely stood out amongst the meats. To top it all off, I highly recommend the Grenache wine flights, which is a very reasonable priced set of three wines that ideally should be drank in a 2, 1, 3 order per the waiter (he was right). This place was phenomenal.

I went there with group of people from work. The food is mediocre. The menu the waiter put together for us was just okay. We did see some great looking items on the menu.But it was not served to us. The ambience is great!! They have some nice cocktails
