Very convenient to the Morgan Library, but a destination as well.My first experience with Moroccan cuisine and it was delightful.Nice middle-eastern ambience, full with a lunch crowd of middle-eastern men and tourists.I enjoyed the artichoke with mustard vinaigrette, a unique combination to me. Couscous was an excellent base for the vegetable stewBut most unique was the Pastilla which was a new experience and quite good.

Superb food - I took the special which was red snapper served with vegetables. Cooked to perfection, best tasting dinner I've had in a while...!! Thank you Barbes, I will be recommending.Definitely a great choice for a casual, not to casual; quiet, but not too quiet dinner in Midtown Manhattan.
