On of the persons at concierge was not very king at the time of check in. My reservation has the name of my company and they say it was a scam without knowing what was happening. Then, the gym they have a different name for my apt and didn't let me in for a few days until they fix the issue in the system. All disconnected. Everything else was ok.

Well maintained apartment housing.

Good place to stay in new York, close to central park and at walking distance from times square. Maintained well.

I recently stayed in this building in the month of July for a month and I must say it's an awesome place. Not only is the location perfect but every staff at Symphony House are very polite and helpful. From the doorman to the staff at the reception. As far as the apartment is concerned I had booked through another real estate website called IndiGo housing. My apartment was perfect. The lobby of the building was also kept clean and there is a huge place to sit downstairs. What impressed me is all the staff in the building. After reading a few past reviews I was skeptical staying here but let me assure you, all the staff are very friendly and polite as long. A big thanks to all the staff at Symphony House.

Location is pretty much all it has going for it. The staff is okay. The building is old and not very well kept. The windows are not very good as they let in cold air and so much noise when closed. But what really annoys me is the fact that you can only access the gym and pool areas at these ridiculous set hours. So if you work during the day, good luck getting to the gym after. For such a huge membership fee they sure are taking the piss.

Apts are way to small.

The place is ok but heavily over-priced. The area is noisy (even if you’re on the 15th floor like I was), they include zero amenities or basic disposables (detergent for the washing machine would’ve been nice), and the people at reception only do their basic job (they won’t even hold your luggage when checking out). The gym is tiny and only included for the one person in the apartment and the mattress is old and bouncy (I still have back pain).In hindsight, I would’ve stayed at an Airbnb for 60% of the price.

Old flats but great locations

Love this building, but I hate the layout of the lobby. At least it’s a straight walk to the elevators.

Convenient building in the heart of the city, close to central park and Broadway and walking distance from Times Square.

Very nice and comfy long stay suites. Somewhat old.

This is an old building and I'm afraid not very well kept from the cleaning perspective. The location may seem good because it is close to Central Park but it doesn't mean much: downstairs it feels noisy and busy, lots of cheap fast food chains around and many homeless people. I wouldn't personally choose this as a location to live and stay in NY as it doesn't represent what the city has to offee.
