Bar Louie

My nephew and I stopped in for lunch. It was not crowded at all. Our initial server greeted us quickly and friendly yet he never returned. After around 10 minutes, I was able to wave down another server. She apologized and took over our table. She was apologetic, friendly and very efficient. We quickly received our food. However there was hair in my food. The server corrected the situation but at that point I focused on enjoying the conversation with my nephew.The restaurant comped our drinks and my meal without me asking. I appreciate that they realized their missteps. After everything I would consider returning to this location.

We tried this spot on a whim. It was cold, it was late, we were hungry and we just stumbled upon it. We were seated and served quickly. Staff was relatively friendly. The food is your typical American grub served in a classical/gastro pub ambiance. Nothing that we had stood out as being out of the ordinary but nothing was bad. Everything seemed relatively average. We enjoyed our meals and if ever in the area again, we would pay another visit.

We ended up here after a disappointing stop at another bar. We walked from the Hilton. It ended up being for the best. We had great service, generous drinks, and wonderful food. All four of us left feeling we made the right decision stopping here. Bar Louie saved our night!

Great martinis and all the food dishes were delicious. This was an ideal setting for our Super Bowl party. The prices were affordable and the wait staff were unbelievably accommodating. I can hardly wait to go back.

This will forever be my favorite Bar Louie! I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th birthday there, where Ricardo was the bartender and Amanda was the event coordinator.... that was back in 2015! 5 years later on my 35th I wanted to be no where but there! Amanda was still the coordinator and I was able to get Ricardo again as my personal bartender! My family and friends loved him! He was so punctual and he handled my guest as if it was 60 of him and 1 of them opposed to the other way around! Also, the food was so good and the wait time is minimum!! This is definitely my go to spot for major celebrations!!

I came here for a late night drink. Bar Louie was an amazing experience and the drinks are awesome. I had the Pineapple Sangria and it was delicious. 😍 The bartender was very courteous and friendly. My Cesar Salmon salad was pretty good. I could eat another one right about now. 😉 If you are in Chicago, please visit Bar Louie, you won’t be disappointed!

My order was very good and looked just like the picture; it wasn't messy. The chilli fries could have used more chilli as they still were pretty good. I also had the chicken nachos which to my surprise were plentiful. I had leftovers. Hope this help someone.

We had a wonderful time! The food was great! I wish they would go back to the chocolate cake they had before. I loved it

Happy hour drinks. Food was good. Great services. Evert hing was well organised. Staff were professional. Reasonable prices.

Great place to hang out and watch a game. Our waitress Cassandra was very attentive and nice... highly recommend and the drinks are awesome

Had dinner here last night and it was great. Our server Courtney was wonderful and the $5 burgers on Tuesday's can't be beat. Best deal in the city!!

Don't judge, but I was visiting Chicago with my daughters and this was the only location we could agree on for dinner. My daughters are 12 and 10.. we went to bar Louie at happy hour and had a great dinner with cocktails and downtown Chicago for around $35. I couldn't have been happier. I recommend the cauliflower appetizer as well as a calamari.

First off- the location is gorgeous, I love that it's inside an old looking trainstation. The aesthetic is there, great area.Go here when you can get burgers for really cheap! I forget which specific day it is- but the food is good, the environment is friendly.I went here when I wasn't 21 so I couldn't get any drinks, but I'll have to return now to experience it all again.

I come here every Monday after work and it’s always a good time. Jordan is so attentive and makes my Monday’s that much more enjoyable. I recommend this bar not only for its excellent service but also for its amazing cocktails and food.

Ate dinner here the other night. Food was great and our server Hannah was very friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely come back.
