The Bar Bill Tavern has been an institution in East Aurora, NY since the day it opened its doors. The old building at 185 Main Street has stood for over 150 years. Originally opened by Barb and Bill (hence the name) Korzelius, the tavern replaced a small Ice Cream shop on the west end of Main St. The bar featured Beef on Weck as it's only food option, as well as a limited drink list. 50+ years later The Bar-Bill Tavern is proud to serve the best chicken wings and beef on weck in WNY!! Everything from the housemade sauces & bleu cheese, the hand carved beef station, the mug club wall, and the all season patio makes Bar-Bill an institution like no other.

When is the new restaurant on Main Street in Clarence going to open?

No, I'm sorry to say. It has no provision for wheelchair access inside due to the narrow doorways and stairs. The interior layout is long and narrow and very crowded with tables and chairs and barstools. During seasonal weather, the front patio might be considered somewhat accessable, but restroom access would be unavailable to mobility-restricted patrons. This is most likely due to the historic nature of the building.

Can order to go to..better eating there.

The kitchen is open daily from 11 am until 1 am (all beef items are done at 10 pm)
