Banh Thai at Ballantyne

My favorite Thai place ! Its always busy for a reason...people love it ! Lunch options ate quick so we can eat and head back to work in under 30 minutes. Dinner can be as elaborate as you want. Food is always delicious, portion size is just right for 1 person. The ambience is not as fancy as some of the other places but that does not matter. The staff is very friendly and for repeat customers they remember your preferences and add that personal touch.

Eaten here several times. Curries are excellent. Pad Thai is excellent. Papaya salad is excellent. Lettuce wraps are excellent. Highly recommend. Service was great as well.

The best sticky rice and mango I've ever eaten.

I have been several times. The quality of the food is great. Never left disappointed and this has become my go to thai spot for quick lunches on weekdays. They serve just the right portions for lunch. It gets too busy here during lunch. So you may want to go a little earlier to get a spot.

Had not been in a while. It was surprisingly good on this trip. But the portion for my meal, green curry with shrimp, was a bit small. My friend had Pad Thai which was a plate full and looked delicious. Will try again

Our server was so wonderful, as was the food. The sauce on the tuna tataki was amazing, flavorful and slightly spicy. The rolls were gigantic. I highly recommend the Ballantyne and Charlotte rolls. The Glaeng Jerd Woon Sen was a great starter soup, or would be a good meal on its own. I enjoyed the Deakin Moscato as well.

This restaurant is amazing. The gaeng massaman curry is my favorite. Their Thai Chai Tea is also delicious as well! Definitely my top Thai restaurant in CLT!

When we lived in Charlotte, this was one of our go to restaurants. Now that we live far away, we make it a priority to eat here whenever we visit. The Pad Thai is amazing. We live the spicy tuna roll and the Ballantyne rolls. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

A great place for sushi as well as Thai and Japanese entrees - especially during lunch! All the lunch specials come in at ~$10 and include soup, a roll, and either 2 sushi rolls or a Thai / Japanese entree. Service is incredibly quick and I've never been disappointed with the quality of food. You can come in, sit down, be fed, and be smiling out the door in as little as 15 minutes (depending on your order and how packed it is, of course)

Sat down and was overlooked 3 times. Guess we will never know if the food was good because we got ignored by the waiters. It's nit racist because they were Asian and so was I. I raised my hand to get their attention and another 5 minutes go by. It wasn't even that busy in there. Hope this doesn't happen to anybody else. Guess we are going to Be Noodles since they are a lot nicer and attentive.

Nice place to eat. Friendly staff. Liked the atmosphere. Enjoyed my food. All was delicious. I would give a 8/10 to the sushi. Felt it was a bit mushy.

Great food, friendly people. The host was not in good mood but overall they have good authentic taste. I decor could be better.
