Balu Smoothies and More

This has been by far the most amazing experience from a juice/smoothie bar. I was always somewhat impressed by Smoothie King but this definitely has raised the bar and my expectations from my smoothies. My only complaint is that there is not one in every single city and state.

It’s a very delicious smoothie place on 2nd floor of the gym. You can order a big delicious wrap or sandwich and fresh fruits or vegetables smoothie with any additions you want... from cayenne pepper to turmeric or granola or chocolate.... super place!

Not many places to get smoothies in the loop area on the weekends but I'm glad I found this place! The Green Monster is awesome. I will be going every Saturday

This is one of Chicago best kept secret. If you are looking for a great smoothies in the downtown area, go to Balu. I was fortunate to know the owner for several years who was the operation manager for L.A. Fitness and watching the revolution of his passion for healthy food and lifestyle had birth BALU. The smoothies are great and the people behind the counter are passionate and pleasant. Thank you BALU

Got the Paradise. Nice service but the smoothie was bland and tasted like nothing. It was odd. Wouldn't get again

Great place within LA Fitness. Just know that it's mostly organic, so if you're one that prefers artificial flavouring, then this probably isn't the place for you.

It doesn't get any better than this!!!You can't beat a delicious smoothie after a hard workout. Many options to choose from and the friendly staff will customize a nutritious post-workout drink just as you like it.

I LOVE everything they serve!!

I love their smoothies!everyday after my workout I get the George of the jungle smoothie and taste green and yummy.but it is pricey and especially any extra things you want to add such as multivitamins or fat burner. Service is super nice .

They're tasty indeed is my go to option for protein shake if I forget mine and it's really convenient that it is inside the gym

The best smoothies in the city hands down! (and I’ve been to many). The staff is always nice and they all make sure your smoothie is perfect - every time. And the place is very clean. The owner, BA, is great - always happy, always smiling . He truly cares about making his customers happy. They have bunch of great tasting recipes but you can also create your own - definitely a 5star smoothie joint!
