Service was awesome. The food was delicious. Each taco had its own uniques texture. We didn’t have to wait long to get our food even though it was packed. Can’t wait for our next Tuesday happy hour tacos.

The Bistec (steak taco) was good but it had some gristle. The shrimp taco was good as well it's just expensive to me. Overall I enjoyed my food. I will go back but only on taco Tuesday when the tacos are half off.

The ambient was good.. the food yummy and don't miss the free street parking on weekends..

Hands down favorite cali style tacos - I can never not order the shrimp and fish. The margaritas are great too although it can depend on who is mixing them (I prefer them on the tart and less sweet side)

Homemade, fresh food. Wide variety of open face tacos. Tried the chicken and fish. Both were superb. Chips were fresh and warm. Bakersfield's margarita was strong, in a good way, and not overloaded with ice. Will go back and try more tacos! Service was excellent. 4 stars instead of 5 are due to the salsas provided. The 1st is a verde, which is not my fave. And the other was a smokey flavored thin red salsa. My preference is a chunky salsa.

It's a lovely, cozy ambience in midtown Detroit just near the Little Caesars arena. We went on a Saturday night, so there was loud music playing, which made it so much better for us! The food was delicious, and the service was one the best I have seen - quick, prompt. I would recommend this place!

Mexican food with a twist. Tacos were good. Appetizers were a twist on elote and then a cauliflower and mushroom mix. Both were pretty good. Drinks were mediocre at best. The mixers were flavorful, but the alcohol content didnt hold it's own, or really add to the cocktail itself. The wait staff struggled with the names of tequilas, but all in all we made it work. Not bad. It's worth a try.

Great place for small plates. Tostada's and tacos are killer!! Salsas are ON POINT! Don't miss out on this little treasure in the big D!!

Great atmosphere great food great service. Baja tacos are hands down the best.

The salsa was awful. Both of them, the salsa Verde and red salsa! Why ruin something so good by putting liquid smoke in salsa? Salsa isn't supposed to taste like barbecue. The tacos were good, we personally liked the shrimp taco the best. I think I'm just used to authentic Mexican food, that's all. Also, you're gonna pay 4$ for the smallest taco ever and 9$ for a margarita. :)

Milanesa and fish tacos are amazing. Been here too many times to count and they’re always so good! Pretty much always have a wait unless you sit/stand by the bar but worth it IMO. MARGS are always good too

It was decent. Thought the tacos were overpriced for what you got though . They're pretty small. 4 tacos and the appetizer are what it took feel like I had a meal. Really liked the short rib. The rest were ok. They may have been better if they hadn't come out cold.

Awesome tacos and guac, the black beans are a must!

Great food. Hands down some of the best tacos I've ever had. However, the food doesn't make up for the lack of environment. Went multiple times, once for a very low-key work meeting. While it was relatively easy to find and get a seat for our group, there is no parking nearby and the building has awful acoustics. We were unable to accomplish much of anything because you cannot hold a conversation due to the high decibel noise.

Portions small and prices are a bit much. Queso dip and chips and Fish tacos were delicious, steak and chicken tacos were not appetizing at all. My 1st time here and I was not impressed.
