Baker's Grille

Excellent lunch meals. Pretty busy at lunch. We were able to get a table without a reservation, but I would recommend getting a reservation. We were lucky. Service was friendly. Food came in a reasonable amount of time, but the server never came back to accept payment after she delivered our bills, so we walked up to the bar to pay. That was fine; just wish the server had told us that was the process before we sat there for 20 minutes.

Very good food, excellent presentation, and friendly service. And amazing value. I had taken a star off since 2 out of 4 poached eggs we got were not runny (at all...), and the waffle is a tad dry... but the rest of the food is so good that I have to put it back to 5-stars. will come back. And did I mention the value? Great prices.

I went two months and a bit ago. Buffet version a bit low on variety vs. price. Taste was good. Service was clumsy at first, but some staff saw that and tried to make up for it. I do plan to come back for the a-la-carte version.

Fairly fast service and nice food. A limited menu but it's better than the caf.

The vegetarian burger was repulsive. Served on a dry, stale bun with three strands of arugula and little to no sauce except for the misplaced blue cheese. Not given choice of bun or any of the fixings (lettuce, tomato, etc). The burger itself was tasteless and laughably thin. Side salad was good but not enough to save the meal. What a disappointing meal - and it’s the third time I’ve tried this place. Complete garbage.

I come here so often, that the manager just walked up to me and asked "the usual?". The breakfast is amazing for 6$ and it's a hefty amount of food as well

Affordable breakfast/brunch place on Carleton campus. Location is kind of low key but easy to get to in university centre. Atmosphere was nice and service was good too. There’s a lot of seating available and we were able to get a spot right away. Would definitely come again!

Great food, nice plating, amazing prices. My steak was a little sub par, but for 15 bucks who's complaining?
