Bakers and Baristas

came in at 1pm; the variety of baked items was negligible. I think they forgot about my order because I had to come back and ask about it. Then they advised flatly they had stopped (for the day?) making my beverage so I would need to re-order. The cinnamon roll I ordered, while visually pleasing, was crispy/flaky when warmed, so much so that when I cut into it the wafer-thin frosting just fell off in shards much like egg shells. Also, randomly, the music is on some late 90s theme.

Good little place for a quick bite.They only have premade pizza slices and pasties, but the hot chocolate is delicious and have good selection of coffees and other non alcoholic drinks- liquor license pending

What a great bakery. Had their butterkuchen and a cup of coffee. Both were excellent. Worth the walk from the national Mall
