Nut-free & kosher bakery serving up homemade cakepops, bagels, black & white cookies, rugelach, and other delicious treats. All of Baked by Yael's baked goods are made from scratch at its shop across from the National Zoo. You'll also find real Italian gelato, vegan snacks, coffee, tea, fresh lemonade, juice, and other beverages at Baked by Yael. Baby showers, birthdays, wedding, receptions, meetings, Baked by Yael's cakepops are perfect for any occasion that calls for desserts. They also make beautiful gifts, party favors, and much more. Our cakepops were named "Best of Washington by Washingtonian Magazine. Our bagels are hand-rolled and boiled. We also offer rugelach, black and white cookies, and other delicious treats. We make our baked goods on-site from scratch using high quality ingredients and no preservatives. To us, providing superior customer service is just as important as a superior product. We'll do whatever it takes to make sure you're completely satisfied with your order.

I order from Baked By Yael regularly and stop by every time I am in DC. I love the cake pops and bagels. I order them for birthdays, holiday gifts, and as end of the year presents for teachers. Everyone always loves them- I get super excited phone calls from my nieces, rave reviews from colleagues, and they always want more. I love stopping in for a quick treat after visiting the zoo! You canâ€™t beat the bagels or cake pops and Yael is awesome.Definitely recommend you try it!

Staff were friendly and we had a nice cup of coffee but I didn't enjoy the flavor or texture of their cookies

The bagel was authentic. Free small coffee before 9. I had a chocolate cakepop which was perfect. I got the avocado hummus bagel. It was yummy. I enjoyed the ambiance at the outside tables.

Yes! We are just a few blocks from both the Woodley Park and Cleveland Park metro stations on the red line.

While you can certainly come in and pick up bagels same-day, we recommend ordering in advance. You can save up to 15% when you order in advance. Plus, we'll set your bagels aside first thing in the morning so you won't have to worry about rushing over before we sell out. If you order ahead, we also offer Curbside Pickup -- we'll run your bagels out to you so you don't even have to get out of your car!
