Baja Burrito

Even after 10+ years, Baja Burrito tastes as good as it did when I was a child. They even still have the big ol' bucket of gum! 10/10 would recommend.

My first visit here today was an eye opening incredible experience ...great, fresh food delivered with gusto !!! .. If you've not been, I suggest reading the menu before you go, so you can keep pace with this staff 👍

Not that these guys need another good review, but I’m posting one anyway. This is by far the absolute best counter serve burrito in Nashville, bar none. Far too often I meet people who eat at Chipotle, who have never heard of this place, and I say to them “what are you doing?!”. I’ve only had great experiences here, so just try it.

The food here is amazing! It's fresh and delicious - and different. If you come during the week a minute after 11am - be prepared for the line. The good news is it moves really fast! The staff are great as well

Better than chipotle or moes. Real food. Quick. Also, this place is always packed and I’m not even mad. It’s worth the wait. Trust me

These guys got game!! They make some of the best burritos and tacos anywhere in the city. Not only is their food super tasty, it is made in front of you with the freshest of healthy ingredients available. And the blackened salmon is cooked right there in front of you to order. My wife is crazy for their fish tacos too!We've never been disappointed here!

Bar far THE BEST FISH TACOS I have ever tasted in my entire life!!! and that’s saying a lot from having my Cuban & Mexican parents’ phenomenal cooking!

It is a consistent solid place to go get an amazing burrito in Nashville. Their queso and guacamole are exceptional. I make sure to go and eat there at least once a week. I also love the environment, feels very authentic. They also have the best fruit tea you will ever taste.

This is my favorite place in the whole world basically except for whole foods. I have never been sad about my burritos from here. NEVER! I eat here on average 1-2 times per week so I'm a pretty loyal customer. I love it so much. Line sometimes too long... but what can you do?? Its worth the wait. I get a chicken burrito with black beans, rice, lettuce, guac, cheese, sour cream, and corn with Cholula sauce, chips and pineapple salsa. Have never not gotten your fruit tea. 11/10. Love.

Wow! Where to start? Iconic for both the early 70's hippie culture and authentic Baja / Mexican food, BAJA BURRITO on Thompson Lane in Nashville IS the place to go! I had the absolute best fish taco ever and my wife had the legendary chicken burrito. All the ingredients are like right out of the garden fresh, the service is quick and personable, and the atmosphere is fun and eclectic. Make sure you sample all their home made salsas and tropical drinks. This is the "go to" burrito / taco place in Nashville. If you don't live in Nashville, it's worth a day drive! One caution: The parking is difficult to chaotic. There is no left turn into the restaurant off of Thompson Lane. Plan on an extra 10 - 15 minutes to just get in and out. Long lines are normative and seating for large groups nerve racking....but all difficulty will be greatly rewarded! BTW...don't forget the homemade chips and queso!

Parking was good at the late hour I came. Visually, the establishment was very dirty (trash on floor, prep area and kitchen was messy). The kid making the food was nice. However, asked for the littlest amount of sour cream and ended up with large spoon fulls on each taco. I went with the steak taco. Tacos stuck to the foil and sour cream was all over. Wish I had the great experience all these high reviewers had! I probably won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

One of my favorite restaurant in Nashville, by far my favorite Mexican restaurant (and there are a ton). I have never EVER had a bad experience at Baja. The burritos are amazing and the chips and queso is to die for! The service is also very good and everyone is nice and friendly.

Great little Mexican walk up counter serve restaurant. Get there early for lunch. Will get crowded, but fast friendly, service. Highly recommend the chicken burrito, fixed just the way you like it. Can't beat the prices and the food portions.
