Food is wonderful, but wait staff needs better training. I didn't want to tip $1 on a $16 bill, but it was necessary.

Absolutely amazing Thai food! The Thai experience of Tallahassee!Always quick service, relaxing atmosphere, fine food and the best Drunken Noodles to be had!!Believe me, you will not regret taking a evening to explore this fine establishment.I read through some of the comments. A lot has changed and I would believe with the service we received tonight that their shortage is over since schools are back in.

Really great Thai food with a variety of curries. Everything that came out was delicious. Also really clean and professional. Don't let the location or small parking lot deceive you, this place is great. The lunch is quite affordable as well. Highly recommended.

Bahn Thai is hands down the best tasting thai food in Tallahassee. It's true you might wait a while but that's because the owners cook and they HANDMAKE the noodles and curries every day. You can't beat that. Get the Pad Se Ew and the Chicken Basil Rolls and you will not be disappointed! Also, their thai tea is incredible.

I've been in Tallahassee over a decade now, and this will forever be one of my favorite restaurants. AUTHENTIC Thai food that will actually do Thai hot when you ask for it, romantic atmosphere, pleasant service, budget-friendly, and never disappoints. One of my boyfriend and my favorite places to go for a night out or when we just don't feel like cooking. Tallahassee gem, y'all!

Nice Thai restaurant. Friendly stuff and nice food. Had Green Curry with chicken.Lot of chicken! Sauce could have been a bit creamier. Recommend it.

Their Panang Curry is my favorite Thai dish I've ever had and probably my favorite meal in Tallahassee. It's even better once it cools a little and is great leftover. Their lunch special are a great deal and come with a salad with a great dressing and a spring roll. Unfortunately they don't do takeout orders at lunch time though.

If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine in Tallahassee, this is the perfect place to go. I have been here 3 times for lunch so far. You get a lot of food for a reasonable price.

My Darling Cousin brought me here because it is her favorite. I finally got the dish she swears by and she was completely right, the Panang Curry rocks. It is the very best curry I've ever had, and I love curry. I've also had the basil fried rice and it was delicious too. The avocado spring rolls are a must.

I love Bahn Thai, the food is top notch. But, if I could take away a half star, I would. The service for lunch is great, but at other times...people get turned away because they don't have enough wait staff. Went there at dinner time once and was told very rudely that we could not be attended to.

I think the Thai food here is good. The location has been a Thai restaurant for several decades. It changed ownership in recent years but kept the same name. In my opinion that change of ownership was a good thing. The old Bahn Thai was good too and very popular with locals but in some ways the food was not as authentic as what it is now. When I say authentic I mean for example the previous owners made the Pad Thai noodles with what tasted like peanut butter. It was good but pretty Americanized. That dish should contain ground peanuts not peanut butter by the way.I lived in Providence, RI and it is something of a hub for Southeast Asian cuisine. I like to think I know what it should taste like and what constitute traditional ingredients. I often order drunken noodles but I also enjoy other menu items as well. They offer a good deal at lunch. For $9 you get an entree, a small egg roll and a salad.

The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The only drawback we found was that it took quite awhile to eat here but if you have the time it's well worth it.

Questions & Answers

They don't have happy hour on Friday nights but the drinks are cheaper than normal. Not more than $5 as I recall. Also when I hosted an event there the owner dropped the price even more for a cash bar maybe like $4 I think.

They are an extremely small restaurant and didn't have a large staff when I went...
