Backyard Bayou

Great experience here! The food was delicious 🤤 We got the Po Boy, the blackened salmon, and the crab legs with lemon pepper and garlic. Also, the garlic noodles with shrimp! Adding the noodles to the boil bag was amazing!! We also had the corn bread, which was very yummy. Service was good and the decor was awesome! Belt powered fans, which was super nifty! Highly recommend going!

Great service and great food, would have gotten 5 stars if the live music would have been a bit quieter. Overall, really good restaurant, especially for seafoods, would highly recommend.

I went here on saturday n ordered the blackened salmon and collard greens and i must say im looking forward to trying other menu items.Loved the ambiance and service was prompt and attentive. I'll be back next saturday for a po boy

Prices are high, but the crawdads are great! Avoid the mac and cheese, it is really the only thing bad on the menu.

The service was not good. He never came back to check on us or do a refill on drinks. The salad and soup came out with meal. The clam chowder was very watery. Atmosphere was fine. We drove a hour and half to try to his joint.

This was a nice surprise...a Cajun place in the middle of Livermore! It had the look of local Gulf Coast seafood shack in New Orleans. The Cajun pasta was great, and the the Bayou Egg Rolls are a must try! This place is worth dropping in.

Food was decent. There was a band playing for 2hrs and we could barely hear each other over the music, not the best.

Most excellent spicy seafood. Doesn't get any better than when you sweat but can't stop eating :)

I was pretty amped on trying this place because I was looking forward to some Creole "bayou" food. I found that the food was just alright based on what I was hoping for. Nothing necessarily wrong, but just didn't jump out at me with it being from the bayou and considering some of the prices. The staff was very helpful and kind, so no problems there at all. Everything was pretty top shape overall. Nice atmosphere and really enjoyed some live music (Friday evening timeframe).Overall, decent outing, so if you're in the mood for Creole, it's worth a try.

Crab pot is better than the lobster pot, cool decor, great fries options, good parking, food has been a hit and miss, good staff.

Grilled oysters are perfection. Drinks are delicious too!

Service, Food, and Ambience all pretty good. Calamari was one of my favorite dishes, and mussels were good as well. Good service too, we will go back.

The snow crab is amazing. The hot links and appetizers are good as well. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that in a span of 6 months, they have not addressed their restroom issues, stalls out of order, sink inoperable. It's really a problem that is being ignored.
