Haven't been to Babbo for two years and it didn't disappoint!! A wonderful meal with exceptional service. A must in NYC.

Food was good but not incredible. As some other reviewers noted it came out barely warm. Also my father who is a hip 76yrs young, asked me "why the hell are they playing Led Zeppelin in an Italian restaurant?". The bottom line, there are better choices!

Pasta Tasting menu was fantastic. Everything was beautifully seasoned. Definitely worth a try if you can get in a reservation. The dessert course was awesome, they provided our table of 6 with 6 different desserts for all of us to share! Service and Staff are amazing!

Pasta was perfectly cooked. Portions were the right size and service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely repeat.

Babbo restaurant is amazing. The atmosphere and the design inside are giving great mood. I have been there many times and the food was wonderful all the times. It is a bit pricey for some meals but it is worth it. They have a lot of different meals so if you are with a friend just order different meals so you can try more things.

My wife and I did the Pasta tasting menu. Highlights were the squid ink pasta with peas, both deserts and the wine. My wife liked the pork pyramid, I did not like it at all. Some of the courses needed salt. I wish I had a bottle of Lawry's so I can sprinkle some when no one was looking. The service was EXCELLENT!!!

Took their unique, pasta-only tasting menu, paired with wine selections (pairing can also be had at the more exclusive “reserve” level), and absolutely loved it. Felt a bit rushed initially, but the pace (and our waiter’s attitude) got better as the evening progressed.

Great Italian restaurant! I pretty much enjoyed this place. I went with my mom and my mom also really loved every dish. She said the taste of pasta is very unique - in a good way! The service was amazing and especially I love the vibes here. Babbo is a perfect place for family dinner, holidays and bday - any special occasions! One minus is that the price is kinda expensive! I guess it would be a grear choice if you tried many Italian restaurants in nyc but if you are traveling then you’ll have so many other options. Anyways, Make reservations for your special day!!! Give it a try! recommend!!

After not having dined here in well over fifteen years, I'm thrilled to say Babbo is still treating customers to a wonderful dining experience. It's an especially nice place to take a date, as you'll be seated side-by-side. While prices are hefty, the portions of pasta are massive. I suggest splitting the pastas, as the kitchen will divide them up into two hearty plates. Obviously, the Beef Cheek Ravioli with crushed squab liver and black truffles is a rich experience not to be missed, but don't skip out on the buttery Black Spaghetti with jumbo lump crab and green chilies or the Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta. Under-ordering is solid advice, as you will easily get full and leave happy.

Decidedly average. Food and presentation were good, but the service was overly fussy, seating was cramped, and our reservation was seated late.
