Have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. They have lunch specials that are well worth the price even the regular menu prices are decent. The service is good even during the busy times. Food has always stayed the same over the years. Servings are a good size. If your not looking for a buffet this is definitely the place to go.

Very impressed with their carry out situation, they give you everything just like they would serve it on the restaurant. Appreciate that they added all the sauces. It did take a little while longer to get the food, but didn't mind waiting. Nothing is on the super spiced up or greasy side, I thought it was a good balance of flavor and healthy.

Hello I just wanted to let everyone know about my recent experience with babar. I ordered enough food to feed 13 people. Roughly 12 orders of various dinners to share, complete with white rice and lo main. I have eaten at just about every Chinese restaurant in town and I must say. Badar is family owned and they SET THE STANDARD for Chinese in tucson. Myself and my bro are chefs for fun and we know freshness, quality of product and presentation of food. These guys nailed it on every single dish. I had not one complaint about anything we bought and I spent about 150.00 to feed 13 people which I thought was quite low. It was hot, fresh, perfect quality. Hands down number 1 spot in tucson. I can't say enough great things about these guys. Truly an asset to our little town. Cheers 🍻 and keep up the great work..of you want the best trust me and look no further.

Good Chinese food and decent portions at a decent price.Just went to lunch at Ba Dar with my husband. Just as good as it has always been. For starters, we both had the egg drop soup - with the crispy won ton wraps with sweet and sour sauce that they bring to the table. My husband had the Mongolian Chicken and I had the Chicken Lo Mein. Both dishes tasted very good.I can remember this restaurant being open back when I was younger - for certain in the 80's. Any restaurant that is still in business since the 1980's must be doing something right!Take the time to stop by Ba Dar Chinese restaurant for lunch or dinner. I think you will enjoy it.

Wonderful Chinese food. The owners are very Friendly and helpful. This place gets five stars but should get four because of the very poor service I had from the blonde waitress. Other than that a great place to eat. The wonton soup is excellent and General Tsao’s chicken is also really good. Located on the east side of town and quite unpretentious, this restaurant serves up very good food for a very reasonable price. The service was also very pleasant. The highlight for me was the soft and soothing background music. The sounds added to the overall enjoyment. On a note of information, This restaurant is closed on Mondays.

We love hanging out. Yesterday we went to this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful evening there with exceptional meal and an efficient crew and a distinguished cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt visit again soon. Highly recommended.

I think one of the best in Tucson

Yep

Closed Monday. Tuesday 5pm-9pm and Wednesday - Sunday 11am-9pm.

I only see evening open also. Pricey thought also.

According to their take out menu, the lunch menu is effective Tues- Sun, 11 to 3 pm.

Lunch is served on Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-3pm. Early Bird is served from 3pm-5:30 (or sometimes 5, depending on how busy they get), and Dinner is served all the time.

They usually answer the phone after a couple of rings and I've also been on hold when they've been very busy. The food and friendly service are worth the work it might take on my part, to place my order. I've always been very satisfied with the food and the service in the restaurant or take out. (delivery service)

Yes! they do have gluten free options, all you have to do is ask your host/hostess!
