B and W Cafe

Ordered some food from there a year ago ,through door dash. And it was not what I expected or was use to eating..The food had too much tyme and the roti's was soggy very disappointed ..I guess my question would be what region of the CarIribean is this food from? Trinidad or Barbados? I guess I was expecting authentic Jamaican food..I would love some ackee and salt fish with fried dumpling or plain ,and fried plantains.Carrot juice , rice and peas ,cow foot with dumplings or regularl olBut ,I will try them again in the near future especially if it's black owned..Maybe my taste buds were off that night..lolThe chocolate cake was good ..I guess you really can't go wrong with cake or can you?

My first and last time going here. The place was nice and they had live music which was great, service was decent, but they were out of literally almost everything I wanted. The lamb in the lamb stew looked and tasted a lot like goat, the red beans and rice were crunchy because the rice wasn’t thoroughly cooked, and their beef patties were nothing like the beef patties I grew up with; they looked more like empanadas, the Mac and cheese wasn’t so pleasant either. Disappointed to say the least. Maybe it was just an off night :/

We just had dinner delivered from Ruthie's, my son in law ordered food to be delivered to our house. He lives in Washington state. The food was excellent. We will be back. Help support these folks they know how to cook some great food.......
