Best Thai restaurant on the West Side. Period. And I'm Thai so that's saying a lot. Try the Pad Thai with lobster and crab meat. You won't be disappointed. The vegetable selection for their Farmers Market stir fry is always changing and creative. I'm normally not a big fan of veggies but always surprised by how beautiful the dish looks and how well the combination of veggies works every single time.

Ayara Thai was the first Thai restaurant I tried when I moved to LA and I fell in love with every dish I tried nearly 6 mos. ago so, when I found out they were closing for renovations I was devastated! They immediately announced on their IG Page that they would have a pop-up ayara in the interim so, I had to check it out...Needless to say - eventhough Ayara Luk doesn't have as many options on the menu, the flavor and offerings are just as delicious... Not to mention the location is quite hip and even has a patio area that is pet friendly. A few things that you have to try (When available because the Ayara Luk menu does change periodically)- the Glass Noodle Salad - Literally the BEST ONE YOU'LL EVER HAVE, the Muay Thai Chicken Wings appetizer, any of the curry dishes, crab fried rice, and the Tom Yum soup.... The staff is super friendly and customer service and they offer catering as well!

Great for a pop-up restaurantAlthough with a wood burning oven built in, I don't know why it would be a call a pop-up since it seems more permanent.Ordered the fried tofu and butterfly shrimp wonton as appetizer, really crispy without being greasy.Green curry with roti was great. Really flakey roti. Nice touch with a piece of green tomato in it. Not sure if it was tomatilo or an heirloom tomato but a good addition.Drunken noodles was good for sharing too. Generous amount of vegetables and meat. Has a good taste from the heat of the wok. Masterfully stir fried.Finished the meal with coconut ice cream. Perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. It was more of a sorbet than ice cream but still very good regardless.

Traditional Thai restaurant... good food, great service, kind of hidden or not that visible from the street. We have been going to another Thai restaurant close by, but I think we are going to come back to this one... Happy customer...

I liked this restaurant but didn't necessarily love it. Food was good but nothing spectacular. I am an avid Tom Kha soup eater and this was the first Thai restaurant I've been to where they served tom kha with clams instead of chicken. For drink, I ordered a tea and quickly regretted it because they just give you an unopened tea bag with a teapot. Nowhere near worth the 3 dollar charge..
