The noodles were in a bath of thick gravy similar to a hot and sour soup. There's a distinct taste of the gravy which comes from the generous amount of Katsuobushi (Bonito flakes) which I find very surprising and very good! There's some salt-cured pork intestines and a few chopped coriander to make this noodles even better!I tasted the gravy itself before adding condiments - it was great by itself! But I did add about a tablespoon of chili and garlic 😅Not bad for 70NT$ (Large bowl) Shouldn't miss this when you're visiting Taipei!

My wife had a bowl since I am a vegetarian. She kept on praising the noodle being so smooth, soft; the taste of the soup reminded her of traditional Taiwanese flavor. Although intestines was used to replace oyster, she felt that it taste even better than before. My opinion, it is kind of odd seeing people standing here and there on street while eating noodle soup.It is amazing to see how fast the service is, while it always had at least 10 customers at the queue line.

Overrated. Not worth a wait. I've had better around Taipei. Will only recommend you to try without a line. Tried once and won't have to go back.
