Great brews and the menu looks terrific,but it's a little more upscale than I prefer my breweries to be.

Good beer selection & solid prices.Flat bread was amazing 10/10 & great for sharing.Good vibe & great location.Great spot for a small group or bigger groups too + always nice that they take reservations.Happily will go back

Beautiful, open, spacious microbrewery with floor to ceiling windows on the southern exposure that flood this place with beautiful sun during the day and colourful panoramas of city streetscape at night. The staff are warm, inviting, and efficient in their service. With a delicious menu (get the fresh baked bread for sure!) and an incredible range of brews, it's no wonder this place has such a vibrant ambience.

Wow. I dare Toronto to produce a better burger. The sides were excellent. The potatoes, the beans. Don't miss the fried squash rings! And the beer was great too.

I'm a big brewery guy myself and this place didnt really have a brewery feel at all. They definitely cater to the area when it comes to clientele. I felt out of place and eventhough the place was full the room felt empty. The menu is rather unimpressive but the bread and butter is incredible. The beers were pretty great and pretty much the only reason I would try this place again... and the bread of course. There are much better breweries in the area if you're looking for just a beer and a comfortable vibe.

I celebrated my birthday at Avling Kitchen and Brewery and was not disappointed! The bartender, Colin, was super knowledgeable about the beer and made sure that all my questions were answered. He was such a delight! They served up an amazing steak dinner and beer that kept me ordering more - specifically the Vienna Lager! I will most definitely be back!

Beautiful place and amazing food! The charred brocoli is awesome. Beer is really good as well, definitely an hidden gem.

I visited Avling Kitchen and Brewery mid day when I had some free time. As a newcomer to the area and being alone, I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. The Bar Manager, Jeff, was courteous and took the time to explain the brewery and make recommendations. My server, Garrett, was very kind and answered questions about the different beer. I made a point of returning just before close with my girlfriend to show her how amazing the beer and atmosphere was. I was welcomed once again with smiles and polite conversation with the Colin at the bar. Not only is the venue amazing but the beer is top notch! Avling Kitchen and Brewery is a must if you're in the area. If you're not in the area, it's worth the detour.

Came for the beer (which is very good) and keep coming back for the food. Literally the best burger I've ever had, I stopped ordering burgers from anywhere else due to sure disappointment in comparison. Everything is locally sourced and they have a rooftop garden! I love you Avling, thank you for being such a fantastic business.

Nice selection of beers available both on tap and in the bottle shop. Helpful staff, cool and relaxed vibe, good food and great beer. Best food item on the menu is the burger!

Didn't try the food, but we really loved the atmosphere! The exposed wood they chose was light and helped to create a bright more vivid experience. This is a nice contrast to all the dark interiors of neighboring establishments. The server was incredible. In fact, we had to ask if he was the owner. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Oh, and their beer was great too! I'll be going back to check out the food at some point.

I was walking down Queen one day and looked through the window of Alving, I was intrigued and put it on my list of places I'd check out. I went last night and was not disappointed.The aesthetic inside is amazing, it's extremely clean, and the building is one of a kind. I didn't get any food, only tried two of their beers, both of which were really good. The staff were all extremely personable, friendly, and attentive. When my date and I walked to the windows to look down on the Brewery area, Hugh told us we could walk across the catwalk for a better look. The catwalk leads back to the their bottle shop. Hugh fielded a bunch of questions I had about the set-up, which is not only visually impressive, but produces some really unique beers. He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I'm planning on returning for food and looking forward to trying other beers.

Highly recommend! We went for dinner before a show at Crows. Sat at the bar, sampled some really interesting, delicious beers. Colin (who was excellent - so helpful, so fun to chat with!) explained their butcher program, and led us to choosing absolutely delicious beef dinners. We will be back for sure. Great addition to the Toronto beer and dining scene!
