Avila's El Ranchito

Generic and kinda bland if you're expecting good Mexican food. $10 for guac wow ? Some things are a little over priced for what they are.

My boyfriend and I stopped here while on vacation and we're so glad we did! I got the street tacos with pork and they were so yummy! The guacamole that comes with it is smooth and creamy and a perfect addition to the tacos. My boyfriend got a burrito and it was huge. I didn't try it but he said it was good. If you're looking for authentic and homemade Mexican food, stop here!

My boyfriend and I ate here. The place is amazing, the decor the service and the cleanness. The food was amazing and they did serve really good chips and salsa! Also there are places to park! Def stop by and check them out!

This restaurant has good food!! Reason I say that.... I ate ALL my food off the plate and it was good !..my kids did the same..no food left behind👍 they said they liked there food!! I cant wait to be able go there again!!! Next time I'm getting a margarita 🍸

We had a great experience celebrating my friends birthday here this evening. Our waiter was patient and super friendly and the food was terrific as usual. Substitute the fajita veggies for rice and beans and you won’t regret it! The manager even ran out to return my 3 year olds toy that he had left on the table before we left. We love Avila’s El Ranchito, especially the Costa Mesa location!

Great food and drinks. The atmosphere on Main street is also a great addition to the El Ranchito locale!!

Our server was cheerful and the place has a fun atmosphere. I had a combo plate with a blackened mahi taco, a cheese enchilada and plenty of beans and rice. Very delicious. Unfortunately the blended watermelon margarita I ordered was most unpleasant... it tasted more like a dirty snowcone with lime juice... and not worth the money I paid for it. I do not recommend it even though our waitress said it was her favorite. My friends however, seemed to enjoy their regular margaritas on the rocks.

Great place to eat tasty Mexican food at reasonable prices. Close to the peer on Main Street. Public parking on side streets are better, or bring your quarters for parking meters. Sunday Brunches at El Ranchito are great; there's even a snack area with bowls for free hot soups, salad and mixed fresh fruit, and of course, you can enjoy chips and salsa while you wait for your meal. Their prompt, friendly service must be complimented. Also, check out their covered patio in the back, where you're welcomed if accompanied by your pet. Tiny parking area in the back, so park elsewhere, but it's worth it 🙂.
