Athos Restaurant

Stopped by here on a busy Friday evening for dinner and drinks. The place was packed, but fortunately there was still a table available.Our server Aiden was very attentive and did the "fancy server" technique of committing our orders to memory, not writing anything down. She nailed our food and drink orders - special shout out to her.While waiting for our food, we got roasted red peppers with pita bread. Tasty way to begin the night. Next up for me was the spanakopita which was phenomenal! Crispy and flavorful without being greasy.Feeling the need for a lighter dinner, I got the Athos seasonal salad. Since salad is what the food I normally eat eats, I don't order it often. I'm glad I did here, the salad was delightful - creamy goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and a wonderful balsamic reduction made this a salad worth getting.Finished the evening with a pour of the Ouzo of Plomari. Anise heavy.Tonight was not my first trip to Athos, nor will it be my last. Opa!

Of you're looking for high end Greek food, this is the place. My husband took me here for my birthday and the meal was nothing short of amazing. Service was great, atmosphere was nice, and the food was incredible!

Dignified place with elegant food choices, including gluten free and vegetarian. The meal came to the table piping hot, and was good. I missed the salt and pepper shakers which would probably have been provided upon request.

Excellent Greek food. They cook to order so plan on a long enjoyable meal. Food is expensive but that is paying for quality and taste. Very good, even the simple things. My only complaint is how noisy it can be when they are close to full. The beautiful hardwood floors and wood work reflect all the sound.

Enjoyed a wonderful Greek meal here for a relatives birthday. The food was amazing and we had Great service from the staff. Looking forward to diving into my take home deserts that I brought home with me. Looking forward to another outing at this restaurant in the future.

Wow, what an exceptional restaurant! Aside from the wonderful service, the food was all delicious! The hanger steak was exquisite, and all of the appetizers were very delicious! Lovely calamari, very tasty hot feta dip, among other things like the eggplant appetizer. Really wonderful desserts, including the baklava, lemon sorbet, which came out inside of a lemon (very classy), and really tasty rice pudding. Great wines from red to white! For a 5 person dinner we had the most wonderful 3 course dining experience and every penny was well worth it! We will be back often! The setting is also very classy with a great live music set up at the front of the restaurant.

Great place for dinner!! Food quality and presentation is fantastic!! We had the vegetarian platter and the our friends had the Octopus. Overall a terrific experience. It is pricey but all worth it

Absolutely delicious fresh food. From the lamb infused burgers with hints of garlic and onion, to the thinly sliced lamb on a Gluten Free pita, oregano fries, and oh those homemade Greek style chicken wings. Sheer heaven. Terry, barkeeper and host was amazing, sincere and eager to make your night spectacular!! This will be my "go to" spot. See you there!!

One of the best Greek restaurants I've been to. Service is outstanding. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our food was served hot and fresh without a long delay. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
