Asian River restaurant

Great Food, recommend the Egg Rolls and Pad Thai. Hot Mustard is fantastic. Beer is cold and cheap-ish. Friends recommend bubble tea and sushi, but I haven't tried either, yet.

People that worked at the restaurant were very friendly. The food was great and the prices were good. My wife and I will definitely go there again.

This place used to be Asia Cafe but it is way better now!Bruce and his wife always are so nice and accomodating. The BEST sushi in Knoxville plus anything else you might want- noodles, hibachi, appetizers... they are all great. It’s one of my favorite places in the area.

Great place and what a wonderful owner. He is the best and the food is amazing. If you are even slightly hungry get up and go now to Asian River. You will not be disappointed.

Rice was uncooked. Dinner portion wasnt bad but they throw everything in one box that not i wasnt expect to put rice (uncooked) on the right and entree together on the left side in on box. I wont recommend and i wont b back for sure

Since the main Chinese buffet closest to me had closed, Asian River has been my go-to. This is the real deal Asian restaurant with the standard menu we all enjoy. There's nothing else in the area except that white washed stuff--no good if you ask me. I want someone who is difficult to understand but always gets the order right. I just love it.Accept no substitutes!

The owner is amazing and the food is so good I can't even describe it!! My wife and I go in there every few days or so and we order to go. I love this place!

We were expecting better based on reviews but we found that the portions were as you would expect for lunch but there was hardly any chicken and only 3 shrimp on the plate - it was mostly vegetables. The food was bland and tasteless. The condiments were watered down and you don't get soup and salad with lunch. The sushi was just ok and also a bit flavorless. We won't be going back.

Update: 1st time was good Just had a waitress that was not very personable. But we went back today for Lunch and were served by a nice young man. Very friendly. The food was exceptional. The ingredients are very fresh. I had the tom ka soup and it was a great version. It has braised sweet carrots that complemented the coconut undertones and the lemongrass was not overpowering. I had the orange Chicken and it was tender and cooked good. My wife had the Mongolian Beef and the steak used was top quality! Very Tender and lots of it! The sauce had that perfect tang like a good Mongolian Beef should have. This restaurant is off to a good start.. if they keep up with the quality ingredients I can see them successfully growing a local fan base.
